Thom Filicia
Thom Filicia (born May 17, 1969) is an American interior designer, known for his role as an interior design expert on the American television program Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. He is also a co-author of a book based on the show.
Biography
Filicia is founder and chief creative officer of New York City-based design firm, Thom Filicia, Inc. Since launching the enterprise in 1998, Filicia's New-American Style has earned him clients in the worlds of entertainment, finance, sports, media, fashion and hospitality. Filicia is known for his ability to create modern, yet classic interiors that retain an inviting aesthetic which reflects the individuality of his clients.
Filicia has been featured in The New York Times, People, In Style, Vogue Home, O, USA Today and other publications.
Filicia was cast as the interior design expert in the highly rated and Emmy-Award winning show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Filicia was assigned the program's segment about transforming the home of a design-challenged man. Filicia’s camera-friendly personality and design acumen led to numerous TV appearances including The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The View, The Today Show, Ellen, and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Filicia has also hosted several shows for the Style Network, including Dress My Nest and Tacky House and is now featured talent on the HGTV Network.
