Banners of Inner Mongolia

A banner (Chinese: 旗; pinyin: qí) is an administrative division of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the People's Republic of China.

Banners were first used during the Qing Dynasty, which organized the Mongols into banners except those who belonged to the Eight Banners. Each banner had sumu as nominal subdivisions. In Inner Mongolia, several banners made up a league. In the rest, including Outer Mongolia, northern Xinjiang and Qinghai, Aimag (Аймаг) was the largest administrative division. While it restricted the Mongols from crossing banner borders, the dynasty protected Mongolia from population pressure from China proper.

There were 49 banners and 24 tribes during the Republic of China.

Today, banners are a county level division in the Chinese administrative hierarchy. There are 49 banners in total.

Hulk (comics)

The Hulk is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and first appeared in The Incredible Hulk #1 (May 1962). Throughout his comic book appearances, the Hulk is portrayed as a large green humanoid that possesses superhuman strength and invulnerability, attributes that grow more potent the angrier he becomes. Hulk is the alter ego of Bruce Banner, a socially withdrawn and emotionally reserved physicist who physically transforms into the Hulk under emotional stress and other specific circumstances at will or against it; these involuntary transformations lead to many complications in Banner's life. When transformed, the Hulk often acts as a dissociated personality separate from Banner. Over the decades of Hulk stories, the Hulk has been represented with several personalities based on Hulk and Banner's fractured psyche, ranging from mindless savage to brilliant warrior, and Banner has taken control of the Hulk's form on occasion. Banner first transforms into the Hulk after being caught in the blast of the gamma bomb he invented while saving Rick Jones, a youth who had wandered onto the testing range.

The Min is a modern working copy of an Ancient Egyptian ship of Hatshepsut's time, built for the BBC documentary The Pharaoh Who Conquered the Sea. It was named after the Egyptian fertility god Min.

Minoh, Osaka

Minoh (箕面市, Minoo-shi) is a city in Osaka Prefecture, Japan, about 15 km north of the centre of the city of Osaka. It is accessed by the Hankyu Railway about 30 minutes from Umeda Station. Its name is commonly romanized as "Minō" or "Minoo"; however the city government now officially uses the spelling Minoh in English.

The city was incorporated on December 1, 1956.

As of 2010, the city has an estimated population of 129,127 and a population density of 2,700 persons per km². Its total area is 47.84 km².

Minoh is best known for Meiji no Mori Minō Quasi-National Park, one of Japan's oldest national parks, which houses a large population of wild monkeys and has a picturesque waterfall.
