Psycho is a 6 track EP by The Dayton Family, released on February 1, 2011. It is their first release under Psychopathic Records sub-label Hatchet House. The EP features the Insane Clown Posse, Flex from Top Authority, and Philly Cocaine.

Psycho (Puddle of Mudd song)

"Psycho" is the second single by post-grunge group Puddle of Mudd from their album Famous. It was officially released on October 2, 2007, but was available for digital download on iTunes on September 18, 2007.

The song is about wondering if oneself has schizophrenia and is a "psycho," as lead singer Wes Scantlin sings "maybe I'm the one who is the schizophrenic psycho'."

Music video

The music video was shot at the famed Psycho section of the Studio tour in Universal Studios Hollywood (from the movie of the same name), and premiered on Google music on October 8, 2007. The video is an homage to various "classic" horror movies, and incorporates several characters and elements from those movies.

The video starts with a full moon, while lead singer Wes Scantlin is driving a car at night with a group of cheerleaders and jocks, parodying the typical teenage victims in horror movies. As they are driving a man jumps out of the woods onto the road, and they hit him. Upon further inspection it is seen that the man is Michael Myers from the Halloween movies played by local actor Mike Watkins. As the group gathers around him to see if he's all right, Leatherface (also played by Mike Watkins) from the The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies jumps out and grabs two of the girls, taking them back into the woods without the rest of them knowing. Michael Myers then proceeds to get up, revealing he was only pretending to be hurt, and begins chasing the group with a razor sharp machete. The remaining members of the group runs from the killers until they come to The Bates Motel from the movie Psycho. They run to one of the rooms, taking refuge in it, while in the process disrupting a couple who happen to be Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson making cameos in the video.

Before I Self Destruct

Before I Self Destruct is the fourth studio album by American rapper 50 Cent, released November 9, 2009 on Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records in the United States. It is his final solo release with Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records excluding a "greatest hits" album. A feature film, also titled Before I Self Destruct was also made, and is available within the album packaging. The Invitation Tour took place in promotion of the album and his then upcoming studio album Black Magic, which has since been shelved.

Background

Initially, Before I Self Destruct was planned to be 50 Cent's 2007 album, for which he confirmed he had already completed twelve songs. However, he decided to release Curtis instead, and thus Before I Self Destruct's release date was originally pushed back to 2008. In a red carpet interview 50 Cent stated that while he was working on the album, he wrote, produced, and directed his first film saying that the release of the film would coincide with the release of the album. Though a tracklist appeared in early January 2009, 50 Cent later stated he reworked much of the album. Another track stated to be on the album, though not officially confirmed as a single, entitled "Crime Wave" was released in late October 2009.

Shuttle Carrier Aircraft

The Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) were two extensively modified Boeing 747 airliners that NASA used to transport Space Shuttle orbiters. One is a 747-100 model, while the other is a short range 747-100SR.

The SCAs were used to ferry Space Shuttles from landing sites back to the Shuttle Landing Facility at the Kennedy Space Center, and to and from other locations too distant for the orbiters to be delivered by ground transport. The orbiters were placed on top of the SCAs by Mate-Demate Devices, large gantry-like structures that hoisted the orbiters off the ground for post-flight servicing then mated them with the SCAs for ferry flights.

In approach and landing test flights conducted in 1977, the test shuttle Enterprise was released from an SCA during flight and glided to a landing under its own control.

Design and development

The Lockheed C-5 Galaxy was considered for the shuttle-carrier role by NASA, but rejected in favor of the 747—in part due to the 747's low-wing design in comparison to the C-5's high-wing design, and also because the U.S. Air Force would have retained ownership of the C-5, while NASA could own the 747s outright.

Machado–Joseph disease

Machado–Joseph disease (MJD), also known as Machado–Joseph Azorean disease or Joseph's disease or Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3), is a rare autosomal, dominantly inherited neurodegenerative disease that causes progressive cerebellar ataxia,which results in a lack of muscle control and coordination of the upper and lower extremities. The symptoms are caused by a genetic mutation that results in an expansion of abnormal "CAG" trinucleotide repeats in the ATXN3 gene that results in an abnormal form of the protein ataxin which causes degeneration of cells in the hindbrain. Some symptoms, such as clumsiness and rigidity, make MJD commonly mistaken for drunkenness and/or Parkinson's disease.

Machado–Joseph disease is a type of spinocerebellar ataxia and is the most common cause of autosomal-dominant ataxia. MJD causes ophthalmoplegia and mixed sensory and cerebellar ataxia.

History

The disease was first identified in 1972.

Unlike many other medical conditions, Machado–Joseph disease isn't named after researchers. It is named after two men ("William Machado" and "Antone Joseph") who were the patriarchs of the families in which the condition was initially described. The above families are of Azorean descent, an ethnic group in which the disease is most prevalent. The highest prevalence of the condition is on the Azorean island of Flores where around 1 in 140 individuals in the population are diagnosed with MJD.

Fibre Channel electrical interface

The Fibre Channel electrical interface is one of two related standards that can be used to physically interconnect computer devices. The other standard is a Fibre Channel optical interface, which is not covered in this article.

Fibre Channel signal characteristics

Fibre channel electrical signals are sent over a duplex differential interface. This usually consists of twisted-pair cables with a nominal impedance of 75 ohms (single-ended) or 150 ohms (differential). This is a genuine differential signalling system so no ground reference is carried through the cable, except for the shield. Signalling is AC-coupled, with the series capacitors located at the transmitter end of the link.

The definition of the Fibre Channel signalling voltage is complex. Eye-diagrams are defined for both the transmitter and receiver. There are many eye-diagram parameters which must all be met to be compliant with the standard. In simple terms, the transmitter circuit must output a signal with a minimum of 600 mV peak-to-peak differential, maximum 2000 mV peak-to-peak differential. A good signal looks rather like a sine-wave with a fundamental frequency of half the data rate, so 1 GHz for a typical system running at 2 gigabits per second.

Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim

Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim is a real-time strategy game developed by 1C:Ino-Co and published by Paradox Interactive. The game was announced on April 18, 2008 and was released on September 18, 2009. It is a sequel to Cyberlore's Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim.

A Mac OS X version of Majesty 2 was announced by Virtual Programming on August 13, 2010. Virtual Programming published the Mac OS X version of the game on November 16, 2010. The publisher released the Mac OS X versions of the first two expansion packs, Kingmaker and Battles of Ardania, on December 15, 2010. In January, 2011, Virtual Programming published the third expansion, Monster Kingdom, for Mac OS X. In April, 2011, Paradox published a collection of the three expansions plus Majesty 2, titled "Majesty 2 Collection", for PC.

Gameplay

The core gameplay of Majesty 2 is essentially the same as the original Majesty. Players take the role of "the sovereign", placing buildings and recruiting units as in other real-time strategy titles. Individual units ("heroes"), however, are semi-autonomous; each has their own statistics and inventory and interact with the game world according to unit-specific AIs (for example hunters will scout unknown areas of the map while warriors prefer to attack or defend locations). The player can influence the actions of hero units by placing bounties on particular actions, such as exploring an area or defeating a specific enemy unit, using a variety of "flags". They also supply heroes with equipment and other items via trade buildings, which both improves the hero's abilities and allows the player to recoup the money heroes have gained from flags and defeated enemies.
