Tiger is an ABBA song featured on their 1976 album Arrival.

Performance

In the 1977 concert tours, the song was preceded by "the sound of helicopters booming over the speakers".

In the ABBA tribute band concert Live Music of Abba by the Arrival From Sweden, Tiger was the show opener.

Critical reception

Bright lights, dark shadows: the real story of Abba described the song as "rocky". The Guardian described the song as "gripping".

An American Tail

An American Tail is a 1986 American animated musical adventure film directed by Don Bluth and produced by Sullivan Bluth Studios and Amblin Entertainment. It tells the story of Fievel Mousekewitz and his family as they immigrate from Russia to the United States for freedom. However, he gets lost and must find a way to reunite with them. Steven Spielberg's first foray into animation and his first with Bluth, it was released on November 21, 1986 to positive reviews and was a box office hit, making it the highest-grossing non-Disney animated film at the time. The success of it, The Land Before Time, and Disney's Who Framed Roger Rabbit, as well as Bluth's departure from their partnership, prompted Spielberg to establish his own animation studio, Amblimation, which would later become DreamWorks Animation, which he cofounded with Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen.

Plot

In 1885, Shostka, Russia, the Mousekewitzes—a Russian-Jewish family of mice—who live with a human family named Moskowitz are having a celebration of Hanukkah where Papa gives his hat to his son, Fievel, and tells of a wonderful place called America, where there are no cats. The celebration is interrupted when a battery of Cossacks ride through the village square in an arson attack and their cats likewise attack the village mice.

Tiger (Fleetway)

Tiger was a British comic magazine published from 1954 to 1985. The comic was launched under the editorship of Derek Birnage on 11 September 1954, under the name Tiger – The Sport and Adventure Picture Story Weekly, and featured predominantly sporting strips. Its most popular strip was Roy of the Rovers, a football-based strip recounting the life of Roy Race and the team he played for, Melchester Rovers. This strip proved so successful it was spun out of Tiger and into its own comic. The next Editor was Barrie Tomlinson. Barrie became Group Editor in 1976, with Paul Gettens as Editor. Following successive mergers with other Fleetway publications in the 1960s the comic was known as Tiger and Hurricane, then Tiger and Jag, then it was coupled with the football magazine Scorcher in 1974, resulting in Tiger and Scorcher appearing for more than 6 years. Later there was a further, less successful, merger with another comic called Speed, in 1980. The end finally came on 30 March 1985, with some strips moving to The Eagle. In all, 1,555 issues were published, as well as a number of hard-cover annuals. Progress (song)

"Progress" is a song by Japanese musician Ayumi Hamasaki. It was one of the promotional tracks from her third extended play Five, released on August 31, 2011. The song was used as the theme song for the PlayStation 3 RPG game Tales of Xillia, the thirteenth main entry in the Tales series. The song was a commercial success, certified gold by the RIAJ.

Background

In 2007, Hamasaki began to collaborate with musician Yuta Nakano, on the song "Talkin' 2 Myself" and its B-side "Decision". Nakano composed four songs on her album Guilty (2008), including on the song "Mirror", which was remade as the single "Mirrorcle World". Nakano continued to collaborate with Hamasaki, creating four songs for Next Level (2009), four songs for Rock 'n' Roll Circus (2010), and arranging the majority of her 12th studio album Love Songs, an album that centred on collaborations with veteran music producer Tetsuya Komuro.

The song's involvement with Tales of Xillia was first announced in May 2011. Hamasaki had not often written music for games in her career, however previously written two songs for the game Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams in 2006, her single "Startin'" and her song "Rainy Day" from the album (Miss)understood (2006). In July 2011, Hamasaki's third extended play Five was announced to be released on August 31, featuring five songs with music videos and commercial tie-ups.
