Los Matadores
Los Matadores, formerly Primo & Epico, are a professional wrestling tag team performing in WWE. The duo is composed of real-life cousins Diego/Primo and Fernando/Epico, of The Colóns. As Primo & Epico, they are former WWE Tag Team Champions.
History
Primo & Epico (2011–2013)
On the November 4, 2011 SmackDown, Epico debuted on the main roster as a heel and realigned with Hunico, his former partner from when both were masked in FCW. On the November 11 Smackdown, Primo, Epico's real-life cousin, was in the corner of Epico when he teamed with Hunico in a winning effort against the Usos. On the November 17 Superstars, Primo & Epico beat the Usos. On the December 1 Superstars, Rosa Mendes aligned herself with the group as their valet, as they were quietly disassociated from Hunico.
Primo & Epico then began a feud with WWE Tag Team Champions Air Boom, beating both Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston in singles matches, followed by two victories for Primo & Epico against Air Boom during non-title tag team matches on December 13 at WWE Tribute to the Troops and the December 15 Superstars. This earned Primo & Epico a shot at the titles at TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view, but were unsuccessful. Primo & Epico's feud with Air Boom continued with Air Boom triumphant in singles matches, while Primo & Epico obtained yet another victory in a non-title tag match.
Epico
Orlando Colón (born March 24, 1982) is a Puerto Rican professional wrestler. He is currently signed to WWE. He began his training at Dan "The Beast" Severn's, Michigan Sports Camps and competing in Price of Glory Wrestling (Coldwater, MI) in 2004. He was also working with Hybrid Pro Wrestling, an independent circuit in Schoolcraft, Michigan. In 2006, Colón debuted in the World Wrestling Council, a promotion owned by his uncle, Carlos Colón. His cousins are Primo and former WWE wrestler, Carlito. While working with WWC, he had a brief participation in Pro Wrestling Zero1. In January 2010, Colón left the WWC after signing a development contract with WWE where he appears as Fernando (formerly as Epico), where he was one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions with his real-life cousin Primo. He also works for World Wrestling Council.
