Prem (actor)

Prem is an Indian film actor who appears in Tamil and Kannada films. He rose to fame starring in television serials, while he was also the winner of the reality dance show Jodi Number One during season 1. In the Nadigar Sangam elections held on 18 October 2015, he was elected as Executive Committee member.

Career

Prem made his acting debut starring in a television serial produced by K. Balachander and directed by Samuthirakani. He was recommended by M. Karunanidhi, who had seen him perform in the TV serial Annamalai, to feature in the film version of Karunanidhi's novel Kannamma.The film released in 2005 to average reviews.

He participated in Jodi Number One with Pooja, his co-star in Annamalai. He went on to win season 1 and announced a move away from television serials and into films.He has since appeared in films including Nepali (2008), Unnaipol Oruvan (2009) and Vallakottai (2010). His brother-in-law is the singer Harish Raghavendra.

Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan (born 27 December 1965) better known as Salman Khan (pronunciation : [səlˈmaːn ˈxaːn];) is an Indian film actor, producer and television personality. He has a significant following in Asia and the Indian diaspora worldwide, and is cited in the media as one of the most popular and commercially successful actors of Hindi cinema.

Nine of the films he has acted in, have accumulated gross earnings of over ₹1 billion (US$15 million), also khan become only actor to give three back to back movies which collect more than ₹200 crore (US$29 million) nett domestically. and he has starred in the highest-grossing Bollywood films of nine separate years which is a Bollywood record. For his contributions to film, the Government of India honoured him with the 2008 – Rajiv Gandhi Award for Outstanding Achievement in Entertainment.

Prem is a brand of canned meat (called "luncheon loaf.") Prem is a brand of Zwanenberg Food Group and is made in the United States. In Canada, it is a trademark of Maple Leaf Foods Inc./Les Aliments Maple Leaf Inc. and is a luncheon meat made in Canada sold under the Swift brand as Swift's Prem. Prem is similar to Spam and was shipped to England during World War II.

Actor

An actor (or actress for female) is one who portrays a character in a performance. The actor performs "in the flesh" in the traditional medium of the theatre, and/or in modern mediums such as film, radio, and television. The analogous Greek term is ὑποκριτής (hypokrites), literally "one who interprets". The actor's interpretation of their role pertains to the role played, whether based on a real person or fictional character. Terminology

After 1660 in England, when women first started to appear on stage, the terms actor or actress were initially used interchangeably for female performers, but later, influenced by the French actrice, actress became the commonly used term for women in theatre and film. Within the profession, the re-adoption of the neutral term dates to the 1950–1960s, the post-war period when the contributions of women to cultural life in general were being reviewed.Actress remains the common term used in major acting awards given to female recipients.

In policy debate, an actor is an entity that enacts a certain policy action. If a plan were to have the U.S. send humanitarian aid to Sudan, then the actor would be the United States federal government.

Many times, actors are subdivided into more specific "agents".

The most common agents include the Supreme Court, the President (usually through the use of an Executive Order), and Congress. Sometimes, the actors get smaller and devolve into Executive agencies. For example, on a previous high school debate topic—the use of renewable energy—the plan could use the Department of Energy.

Sometimes the Negative will use a counterplan to solve for the harms of the affirmative and the most common method of doing so is by the use of an agent counterplan, which simply does the mandates of the Affirmative plan through the use of another agent. Sometimes, the Negative will even use another country. If the Affirmative plan were to send peacekeeping troops to Congo, then the Negative would have Bangladesh (or any other country), do it.
