Possession is a young adult dystopian novel trilogy written by Elana Johnson and published by Simon Pulse. The first book in the series, Possession, was published on 7 June 2011, and was followed by Surrender (5 June 2012) and Abandon (4 June 2013). The series follows Vi, a rebellious teen girl who is unwilling to follow the rules set out by the oppressive 'Thinkers' yet unable to leave her prospective mate Zenn behind. After the release of Possession Johnson issued a 20 page short story entitled Resist, which serves as a prequel to the series.

Vi is a beautiful and rebellious young teen living in a world where people are separated into "Goodies", people who live in the Goodlands and give up their free will in exchange for safety, and "Baddies", those who are willing to live in pollution and danger but retain control over their will and thoughts. While Vi mostly abides by the rules, she will occasionally break a few of them- especially when she's around her approved mate Zenn. Girls are not allowed to mingle freely with boys, but Vi decides that she will take the opportunity to walk alone with Zenn and possibly even kiss him, as she figures that since he is her future mate that the rules won't matter as much in the long run. This ends up being far from the case and she attracts the attention of the oppressive "Thinkers", who control everything that the Goodies do. They place her in prison, where she meets Jag, an equally rebellious teen boy that Vi finds herself falling for. The two of them manage to break out of the prison with the intention of joining the Baddies' rebellion, but Vi is unwilling to leave Zenn alone with the Thinkers and is willing to fight against them in order to keep him safe.
Possession (2002 film)
Possession is a 2002 American/British romantic/mystery drama film written and directed by Neil LaBute, starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Aaron Eckhart. It was based on the 1990 novel of the same name by British author A. S. Byatt, who won the Booker Prize for it the year it was published.
Synopsis
A fictional story of literary scholars American Roland Mitchell (Aaron Eckhart) and British Maud Bailey (Gwyneth Paltrow), who independently find that the socially antagonistic relationship between the Victorian era poets Randolph Henry Ash (Jeremy Northam) and Christabel LaMotte (Jennifer Ehle) may have concealed a secret connection as lovers. Ash is traditional and conservative and LaMotte is a freethinking bisexual. Rival scholars become aware of their efforts and each seeks to be the first at the public disclosure of this major finding about the poets. In a parallel relationship, Mitchell and Bailey have their own deepening connection.

Fontana (/fɒnˈtænə/) is a city of 203,003 residents in San Bernardino County, California. Founded by Azariel Blanchard Miller in 1913, it remained essentially rural until World War II, when entrepreneur Henry J. Kaiser built a large steel mill in the area. It is now a regional hub of the trucking industry, with Interstate 10 and State Route 210 transecting the city from east to west, and Interstate 15 passing diagonally through its northwestern quadrant.
It is home to the largest of the San Bernardino County system libraries, a renovated historic theater, a municipal park, and the Auto Club Speedway on the site of the Kaiser Steel Mill. Fontana also hosts the Fontana Days Half Marathon and 5K run. This race is the fastest half-marathon course in the world.
The United States Census Bureau estimated Fontana's 2013 population at 203,003, making it the second most populous city in San Bernardino county and the 20th largest in the state.
History
Fontana was founded in 1913 by Azariel Blanchard Miller. Within a few years it became an agricultural town of citrus orchards, vineyards and chicken ranches astride U.S. Route 66 (now known as Foothill Boulevard). The Fontana area was radically transformed during World War II when Henry J. Kaiser built one of only two steel mills west of the Mississippi River outside the city limits. To provide for the plant workers health needs, Henry J. Kaiser constructed the Fontana Kaiser Permanente medical facility, now the largest managed care organization in the United States.
Fontana (Belgrade)
Fontana (Serbian Cyrillic: Фонтана) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Novi Beograd.
Fontana sprawls around the intersection of Pariske Komune, Narodnih heroja, and Otona Župančiča streets, in the north-central section of the municipality. It roughly comprises (entirely or partially) Blocks 1, 2, 3 and 5 that were mostly built in the 1960s. The population of the local community of Fontana was 4,476 in 2002, and 9,833 with the neighboring areas which make the neighborhood of Fontana. In the north, it extends into the neighborhood of Paviljoni, and in the west into Tošin Bunar.
Apart from being a residential area, some commercial and educational facilities are located nearby: a multifunctional shopping and cultural center "Fontana" by architect Uroš Martinović (completed in 1967), a McDonald's restaurant, indoor arena Hala sportova with an outdoor stadium, four kindergartens, three elementary schools and two highschools (Graphic Design Secondary School and IX Belgrade Gymnasium). Fontana is very well connected to the other parts of Belgrade as over ten lines of public transportation pass through the neighborhood.
