Portrait is the first album by the American actress Lynda Carter. It was released in 1978 on vinyl LP, 8-track and cassette as well as a limited edition picture LP. Carter co-wrote three of the songs: "Want to Get Beside You," "Fantasy Man" and "Toto (Don't It Feel Like Paradise)". The album also included the cover songs "She's Always a Woman" by Billy Joel and "Just One Look" by Doris Troy. Promotional singles were released for "All Night Song" and "Toto (Don't It Feel Like Paradise)."
Two of the songs were featured in and performed by Carter's character, Diana Prince in the 1979 Wonder Woman episode, "Amazon Hot Wax": "Want to Get Beside You" and "Toto (Don't It Feel Like Paradise)". The latter song makes mention of several elements from the Wizard of Oz stories, and quotes dialogue from the 1939 film.
Portrait was issued on CD by Wounded Bird Records in 2013 with two previously unreleased bonus tracks.
Carter did not release another album for over 30 years due to being a semiprofessional singer. Her second album, At Last, is a jazz and blues standards album and was released in June 2009.
Portrait is a Canadian musical variety television series which aired on CBC Television in 1965.
Portrait was a spin-off from segments of the local A La Carte series on CBLT Toronto. Musicians featured during the series included Lucio Agostini, Ed Bickert and Maurice Bolyer. One episode, "The Conformists", was a comedic work starring various performers such as Paul Soles.
This half-hour series was broadcast on Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. (Eastern) from 8 July to 9 September 1965.
Songs from the Deep Forest is an album by Northern Ireland based artist Duke Special. In May 2006 it was released as a limited edition set of six 7" vinyl discs and then re-released as a single CD in October of the same year. It has been nominated for a 2007 Meteor Music Award for best Irish album, and for the 2007 Choice Music Prize.
On October 1st 2007, a special 2-disc edition was released which included the new song Our Love Goes Deeper Than This which featured Neil Hannon and Romeo Stodart. A bonus second disc was included in this edition and includes songs from the live BBC performance recorded in Belfast.

Aiden was an American punk rock band from Seattle, Washington that formed in the spring of 2002. They achieved mainstream success during the mid to late 2000s with their classic lineup, featuring vocalist William Francis, guitarists Angel Ibarra and Jake Wambold, bassist Nick Wiggins, and drummer Jake Davison. Aiden's final lineup featured Francis, guitarist Ian MacWilliams, bassist Kenneth Fletcher, and drummer Ben Tourkantonis.
Aiden have been described as goth, goth-punk,emo,horror punk,screamo,post-hardcore and punk rock. Aiden are influenced by and listen to bands such as Misfits, H.I.M., Nirvana and The Damned. Aiden have been compared to the band AFI.
The band formed in 2003 and is named after the character Aiden of the 2002 film The Ring. Their first full-length album Our Gang's Dark Oath, was released on Dead Teenager Records in 2004. It was recorded while Jake Davison and Angel Ibarra were still in high school, being released shortly after they had left.
Aiden Samuel Grimshaw (born 4 December 1991), also known simply as Aiden, is an English singer, songwriter and actor. He successfully made it to the live shows and finished ninth in the seventh series of The X Factor in 2010. After his elimination, Grimshaw was signed by RCA Records.
On 3 June 2012, he released his debut single "Is This Love", which debuted at number 35 on the UK Singles Chart. His debut album Misty Eye was released on 20 August 2012 and reached number 19 on the UK Albums Chart.
Grimshaw was born in Blackpool in December 1991 and studied at the Michael Hall Theatre School in North Shore, Blackpool. He played Tom Holmes in an episode of CBBC show Half Moon Investigations. He has a half sister called Libby and a half brother called Leo.
