El Camino is the 13th studio album by Argentine rock band Vox Dei, released in 2005. It is the band's second album with Carlos Gardellini and its first release on the band's independent label, La Rompe Records. It is also Vox Dei's seventh line-up second full-length appearance since 1994, following the departure of Ricardo Soulé in 1998. The band presented and announced the new album on 22 July 2005, at the ND Ateneo Theatre, three months before the band ended the recording. Also, Vox Dei remade six songs for his previous albums (including the studio version of "Torcazas Y Pinos", from El Regreso de la Leyenda).
El Camino is the seventh studio album by American rock duo the Black Keys. It was co-produced by Danger Mouse and the group, and was released on Nonesuch Records on December 6, 2011. The record was the band's follow-up to their commercial breakthrough, Brothers (2010), and was their third collaboration with Danger Mouse. El Camino draws from popular genres of the 1950s to 1970s, such as rock and roll, glam rock, rockabilly, surf rock and soul. Danger Mouse contributed as a co-writer on each of the 11 songs alongside guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney.
The album was recorded from March to May 2011 in Nashville, Tennessee, at Easy Eye Sound Studio, which Auerbach opened the year prior. The band approached writing and recording differently than on previous albums, as they entered the studio without having written any material and deliberated longer on how to structure songs. After struggling to translate the slower songs from Brothers to a live setting, the band wrote more uptempo, hook-laden tracks for El Camino. The album's cover art depicts a minivan similar to one the group toured in early in their career, but in an inside joke, they named the record after the El Camino muscle car. A faux newspaper advertisement and parody car commercial playing on this joke were used to promote the record prior to release.
Camino may refer to:
Camino is a 2008 Spanish drama film directed by Javier Fesser. The film is inspired by the real story of Alexia González-Barros, a girl who died from spinal cancer at fourteen in 1985 who is in process of canonization.
The film is controversial because Alexia's siblings said it was a distortion of the girl's history. They also objected to Fesser's use of Alexia's full name in his dedication, despite him having undertaken not to directly identify her. He calls her Camino ('the way') in the film, referencing 'the way' to sainthood she apparently undergoes.
Camino's elder sister is a protestant acolyte, deliberately kept from contacting her family. Suppressing open signs of normal maternal grief, the mother seems almost inhuman in urging her dying daughter to 'offer up' her suffering for Jesus. The father struggles to protect his daughter from a concerted effort to canonise her (even before her death) by his wife, elder daughter, and protestant officials. Even the hospital medical staff seem to be complicit in this. Protestant said the film was "biased and false" in its presentation of the "attitudes, sentiments and intentions" of the organization's members.

I've got scars
I've got scars from the inside and out
And I've got trouble, oh yeah
Whether alone or in a crowd
Oh Lord can't you see the light inside of me
There is a lady in my bedroom
She's digging for gold in a silver mine
She's giving her heart out to the heartless
She's trying to walk circles in a straight line
She says that she loves me like a woman loves a man
I've got shame
I've got shame bigger than Peru
And I've got jones, yes I do
Higher than Katmandu
Oh Lord can't you see the light inside of me
There is a lady in my bedroom
She's digging for gold in a silver mine
She's giving her heart out to the heartless
She's trying to walk circles in a straight line
She says that she loves me like a woman loves a man
Oh Lord can't you see the light inside of me
I've got tickets
Two tickets for the movie show
Baby please, baby please
Tell me that you wanna go
Oh Lord can't you see the light inside of me
Oh Lord can't you see the light inside of me
There is lady in my bedroom
She's digging for gold in a silver mine
She's giving her heart out to the heartless
