"Pop Diva" (capitalized as "POP DIVA") is a song recorded by Japanese recording artist Kumi Koda for her ninth studio album Dejavu (2011). It was written by its producer Lil' Showy; this is Koda's first collaboration wit Lil' Showy. "Pop Diva" premiered on February 2, 2011 as the third and final from the album. The CD and digital cover sleeve has a body shot of Koda kneeling down, while the DVD cover has Koda with different clothing and pose. Koda's name, the song title, and the introduction lyrics are feature on the sleeve.
The song is a fast-paced dance-pop song which uses the diva phrase to describe Koda's success and beauty. It contains elements of electropop and hip-hop, and employs heavy use of autotune and vocoder. Upon its release, critical reception towards "Pop Diva" has been positive; majority of the critics commended the chorus composition of the song. Minor criticism was aimed towards the lyrical content. In Japan, the song failed to reach the top spot and peaked at number three. It has sold over 40,000 units in Japan, and "Pop Diva" was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for digital shipments of 100,000 units.
