Robert Smith (Cumberland cricketer)

Robert Smith (born February 1, 1982) was an English cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman who played for Cumberland.

Smith made a single List A appearance for the team, in the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy in August 2001. He scored 3 runs in his innings, as opponents Warwickshire CB won by a narrow margin, thanks mostly to a century from Jim Troughton.

Robert Scott Smith (born March 4, 1972) is a former American football running back who played college football at The Ohio State University and professionally with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL).

High school

While at Euclid High School, Smith became the first player to win Ohio's Mr. Football Award twice (in 1988 and 1989). As a junior, he gained 1,564 yards on 177 rushes (8.8 yards per carry) and averaged 31 yards on 10 punt returns. As a senior, he gained 2,042 yards on 203 carries and scored 31 touchdowns. During his Panthers' career, he rushed for a total of 5,038 yards on 548 carries with 67 touchdowns.

College

Smith narrowed his college choices to the University of Miami, the University of Southern California, UCLA and Ohio State, choosing Ohio State. In his two seasons with the Buckeyes, Smith ran for a total of 1,945 yards. He led the Buckeyes in rushing in 1990 and 1992, with a personal-best 1,126 yards in 1990. He averaged 88.4 yards per game and rushed for 18 touchdowns.

Poetic Justice (song)

"Poetic Justice" is a song by American hip hop recording artist Kendrick Lamar, from his major-label debut studio album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City (2012). The song, produced by American record producer Scoop DeVille, features a verse from Canadian recording artist Drake. The song was released as the album's fourth official single, due to its positive response.

Background

The song was produced by Scoop DeVille, who Lamar had previously worked with on his debut single "The Recipe". DeVille sampled Janet Jackson's "Any Time, Any Place." Lamar and DeVille chose to sample the record after it came on the radio during their studio session. In an interview, DeVille recalled several artists wanting the song, including American rapper 50 Cent, before he ended up giving it to Lamar. On January 26, 2013, Lamar performed the song on Saturday Night Live, as well as his previous single "Swimming Pools (Drank)."

Music video

In a December 2012 interview, Lamar stated that the music video would be filmed "soon." Although he expressed interest in having American recording artist and actress Janet Jackson, who starred in the 1993 film from which the song takes its name, to appear in the video, she did not make an appearance.

It depicts the lives of a group of people doing investigative journalism, and will be telecasted on Singapore's free-to-air channel, MediaCorp Channel 8. It will make its debut on 11 September 2012. This drama serial consists of 20 episodes, and was screened on every weekday night at 9:00 pm.

Unlike most locally produced series about crime, this series departs from the traditional police procedural style and focuses more on investigative journalism and the media.

Story

The plot revolves around a group of young professionals involved in investigative journalism. Two journalists team up with a wealthy businessman and a lawyer to help solve cases for those in need. As they investigate further, they uncover more secrets and dark truths behind some of the crimes.
