Pizza Capers is an Australian fast food chain specializing in pizza, based in Queensland. Pizza Capers has over 110 stores throughout Australia, located in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria. The company has also expanded into Singapore. Pizza Capers offers delivery in addition to in-store pick up of pizzas.

History

In 1996, the first Pizza Capers store opened in suburb Kenmore, Queensland and a year later, in 1997, another store opened in Toowong, another suburb in Queensland. Has continued to open stores since.

Products

In addition to pizza, Pizza Capers also serves a wide variety of other food items and beverages such as soft drinks, garlic bread, salads, ice creams and gelato, pastas, chicken wings, pasta and calzones.

Pizza

Pizza is a flatbread generally topped with tomato sauce and cheese and baked in an oven. It is commonly topped with a selection of meats, vegetables and condiments. The term was first recorded in the 10th century, in a Latin manuscript from Gaeta in Central Italy. The modern pizza was invented in Naples, Italy, and the dish and its variants have since become popular in many areas of the world.

In 2009, upon Italy's request, Neapolitan pizza was safeguarded in the European Union as a Traditional Speciality Guaranteed dish. The Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (the True Neapolitan Pizza Association) is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 with headquarters in Naples. It promotes and protects the "true Neapolitan pizza".

Pizza is sold fresh, frozen or in portions, and is a common fast food item in the United States. Various types of ovens are used to cook them and many varieties exist. Several similar dishes are prepared from ingredients commonly used in pizza preparation, such as calzone and stromboli.

Pizza (Hindi: पिज़्ज़ा) is an Indian Hindi supernatural thriller film directed by Akshay Akkineni. The film stars Akshay Oberoi, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Dipannita Sharma in the lead roles, while Arunoday Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Omkar Das Manikpuri and Sonali Sachdev play supporting roles. The film is a remake of 2012 Tamil film, Pizza, directed by Karthik Subbaraj and was released on 18 July 2014.
