Pish Posh is a children's novel by American author Ellen Potter, first published in 2006. It tells the story of a young girl, Clara Frankofile, who is a pompous, snobbish 11-year-old who spends her evenings people-watching from a corner table in her parents' chic New York City restaurant, Pish Posh.
Ultra snobby, Clara Frankofile has everything an 11-year-old could want. She's fabulously wealthy, she lives alone in a penthouse apartment with its own roller coaster and bumper cars... and all of New York City is afraid of her! Each night at the fashionable Pish Posh restaurant, she watches glittery movie actresses, princesses, and celebrities and decides who is important enough to stay...and who she will kick to the sidewalk in disgrace.
But Clara's tidy little world is suddenly turned upside down when she discovers that a most peculiar mystery is happening in the restaurant, right under her upturned nose. With the help up whip-smart 12-year-old jewel thief, Clara embarks on a wildly dangerous mission through the streets of New York to solve a 200-year-old secret.
"Posh!" is an up tempo song and musical number from the popular 1968 Albert R. Broccoli motion picture, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It is written by the songwriting team of Sherman & Sherman. It makes reference to the myth that the word "posh" is an acronym for "Port Out, Starboard Home". In the film it is sung when "Grandpa Potts" (played by Lionel Jeffries) is being carried away in his outhouse. He sees the situation as serendipitous until he finally meets his kidnapper, Baron Bombhurst in Vulgaria.
The song is also featured prominently in the 2002 and 2005 stage musical versions of the film. In the stage musical versions, Grandpa sings the song to the children in the family dining room and not while being kidnapped. An extra verse was also added to the beginning of the stage version, to tell the story of when Grandpa sailed out from Liverpool. The song is reprised a few times and is used as "Grandpa's" leit motif.
Posh is an informal adjective for "upper class".
Posh is a play by the British playwright Laura Wade. It was first staged at the Royal Court Theatre downstairs in 2010. The play concerns an Oxford student dining club called "The Riot Club", a fictionalised version of the Bullingdon Club. The first production, produced during the British General Election, received favourable reviews.
Ten members of "The Riot Club", an exclusive Oxford University dining club, have rented out a country pub's dining room for their termly dinner. Their president, James, who is about to leave university, is falling out of love with the club and promises the suspicious landlord Chris and his waitress daughter Rachel that he will keep things under control. While James avoids his presidential duties, others vie for his position. Inspired by his godfather Jeremy, a former Riot Club member and now a Tory MP, Guy tries to impress the boys with a "ten bird roast'. Others are less restrained; one has hired Charlie the prostitute. When Charlie arrives she refuses to get under the table and perform oral sex on the boys; they are surprised at her scruples.
Akon - Push Push Lyrics Feat Kat Deluna
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
I see you dancin’ with every girl
Lookin’ for someone to rock your world
I’m checkin’ your body, it’s lookin’ right
Boy I can tell that you go all night
Sweet boy, I just wanna be your fantasy boy
If you want it boy you gotta push push push baby
Don’t stop for a minute
Oh oh , oh oh , ooh oh oh , oh oh oh
I said push push baby
Take it to the limit
Oh oh , oh oh , ooh oh oh , oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh , oh oh oh oh [4x]
Push it baby just the way I like (you know i want it)
Pick me up and take me for a ride (you know i want it)
Sexy body don’t you wanna turn me out (you know i want it)
When I hop into it, take me to the crowd
Oh oh oh ohh
Sweet boy, I just wanna be your fantasy boy
If you want it boy you gotta push push baby
Don’t stop for a minute
Oh oh , oh oh , ooh oh oh , oh oh oh
I said push push baby
Take it to the limit
Oh oh , oh oh , ooh oh oh , oh oh
Oh oh oh oh , oh oh oh oh [4x]
[Spanish rapping]
Push push baby
Don’t stop for a minute
Oh oh , oh oh , ooh oh oh , oh oh
I said push push baby
Take it to the limit
Ooh oh , oh oh , ooh oh oh , oh oh

Don’t stop for a minute
Oh oh , oh oh , ooh oh oh , oh oh
I said push push baby
Take it to the limit
