Pinoy is an informal demonym referring to some of the Filipino people in the Philippines and overseas Filipinos around the world.
An unspecified number of Filipinos refer to themselves as Pinoy or sometimes the feminine Pinay. The word is formed by taking the last four letters of Filipino and adding the diminutive suffix -y in the Tagalog language (the suffix is commonly used in Filipino nicknames: "Ninoy" or "Noynoy" for Benigno (Jr. and III respectively), "Totoy" for Augusto, etc.). Pinoy was used for self-identification by the first wave of Filipinos going to the continental United States before World War II and has been used both in a pejorative sense as well as a term of endearment similar to Chicano. Although Pinoy and Pinay are regarded as derogatory by some younger Filipino-Americans, the terms are widely used and gaining mainstream usage particularly among members of the masses.
Pinoy was created to differentiate the experiences of those immigrating to the United States but is now a slang term used to refer to all people of Filipino descent. Mainstream usages tend to center on entertainment (Pinoy Big Brother) and music (Pinoy Idol) which has played a significant role in developing national and cultural identity. Pinoy music impacted the socio-political climate of the 1970s and was employed by both Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos and the People Power Revolution that overthrew his regime. As of 2016, the term is extensively used by the government of the Philippines itself, with apparently no derogatory connotations. It is more positive than the slang term "flip".
Épinoy is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France.

No I'm not drunk, I'm just dancing
No I'm not sick, it's my style
Well no I'm not dead, I'm just sleeping
Waking up will take a while
Well no I don't care what you're saying
No I do not want to talk
Well yes I got a mouth to feed
So out this side way it will speak
You are you
I am me
You can stare but don't care (2x)
Well no I'm not drunk, I'm just dancing
No I'm not sick, it's my style
Well no I'm not dead, I'm just thinking
My way home might take a while
Well no I don't care where I'm going
No I do not want to know
Well yes it's true I look at you
But no this is not a gun in my pocket I'm just glad to
see you
You are you
I am me
You can stare but don't care (2x)
It's too much
What are you gonna do with your life
I said what
What are you gonna do with your life
I said what
What are you gonna do with your life
I said what
What are you gonna do with your life
I said what
What am I gonna do with my life
Well I could use a gun, I could borrow a knife
You ask
What am I gonna do with my life
Well I could be your lover or the one of *?*, say what?
What am I gonna do with my time
I could be your enemy and you could be mine
Well I could steal a car or I could ride my bike
Well I could start to work but maybe I will only strike
What do you really care about it if I'm gonna start a
What if I am more the revolutionary type
What do you care about tomorrow
Do I talk about my past
You've got to get yourself a life or just as long as it
will last
You are you
I am me
You can stare but don't care (2x)
I said what
What are you gonna do with your life
I said what
What are you gonna do with your life
I said what
What are you gonna do with your life
I said what
What are you gonna do with your life
I said what
What are you gonna do, what, what are you gonna do,
what, what are you gonna do with your life
I said what
What are you gonna do, what, what are you gonna do,
what, what are you gonna do with your life
