Pihlaja (Finnish for "Sorbus"), also called "kettukarkki" ("fox candy") is a marmalade candy produced by Fazer. Fazer started producing the candy in 1895 at the conditory on Kluuvikatu, Helsinki, and it is the oldest candy produced by Fazer still on the market. The candy's recipe comes from Russia, where Karl Fazer took it with him when he returned to Finland after his studies. The candies are wrapped in a yellow-red paper with a picture of a fox. Thus the candy is also unofficially known as the "fox candy". Pihlaja is lactose and gluten free (less than 0.02% gluten).
The candy originally contained Sorbus aucuparia berries, but the recipe has since changed and the candy is now called "Pihlaja". Until 1982 the candy was also known as "Pihlajanmarja" (Sorbus berry). The candy is produced in Lappeenranta.
Droves of civilians play into the plan,
It's a shame mediocrity is in demand,
With short-dime demeanor so clumsy my hands,
Hold on for one more phrase,
Lets be honest, be honest, this has got to stay off limits,
If we can't take these headaches that are bound to come with it,
Just say the word and I'll come to your coast,
I'll be the virus if you'll be the host,
Bore dumb defense for the absentee ghost,
Just slightly out of range,
It comes and goes but for the most part it's just not as bad as you once thought,
