Piehl, Wisconsin
Piehl is a town in Oneida County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 93 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated community of Gagen is located in the town.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 38.0 square miles (98.4 km²), of which, 37.4 square miles (96.8 km²) of it is land and 0.6 square miles (1.5 km²) of it (1.55%) is water.
Demographics
As of the census of 2000, there were 93 people, 39 households, and 26 families residing in the town. The population density was 2.5 people per square mile (1.0/km²). There were 85 housing units at an average density of 2.3 per square mile (0.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.92% White, 1.08% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.08% of the population.
There were 39 households out of which 30.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.4% were married couples living together, 5.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.3% were non-families. 28.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.38 and the average family size was 2.96.
