Peter Andre (born Peter James Andrea; 27 February 1973) is an English born Australian singer, songwriter, businessman, presenter, and television personality of Greek Cypriot descent. He is not British, but has lived in the UK for several years.
He gained popularity as a singer, best known for his successful singles "Mysterious Girl" and "Flava". He is also known for appearing on the third series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, and the thirteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, in which he was partnered with Janette Manrara.
During his time on I'm A Celebrity, Andre developed an on-screen romantic relationship with fellow contestant, Katie Price. Andre and Price got married two years after the show's finale; they had two children, and released the 2006 album A Whole New World together, before divorcing in 2009.
In 2009 Andre released the album Revelation with the single "Behind Closed Doors", which reached No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart. He followed it up with his sixth studio album Accelerate in 2010.
Peter Andre is the self-titled debut album from Australian singer-songwriter Peter Andre.
In 1990, Andre became famous when he took part in the Australian television talent show New Faces. Following Andre's success in the program, Melodian Records offered him a £1 million pound record deal. In 1992, Andre released his debut single, "Drive Me Crazy", which peaked at #11 on the Australian singles chart. However, Andre's musical breakthrough occurred with his second single, "Gimme Little Sign", which peaked at #3 and lasted a total of 31 weeks on the charts. Andre's self-titled debut album was released on 4 May 1993, peaking at #16 on the Australian albums chart. Three further singles were released from the album: "Funky Junky", which was regularly used as a theme for the Channel 5 soap Neighbours, the double A-side "Let's Get It On / Do You Wanna Dance?" and "To The Top", all of which peaked within the Australian Top 50. In 1993, "Gimme Little Sign" received an ARIA Award for the highest selling single of the year. Originally, the album was only made available for sale in Australia, however, following Andre's successful Japanese breakthrough, the album was later issued in the country with new cover artwork on 5 January 1994. Both copies of the album share an identical track listing. Following Andre's international breakthrough, "To The Top" later appeared on the British release of his second studio album, Natural.
Just swing it, from the front to the back to the side
Till it makes you feel all right, said it's all about us tonight ...right. (x2)
I want you all to myself
Tonight girl, can't think of anyone else
Our friends will just have to realise
Tonight is for you and I
My friends will have to understand that tonight is all about us
But your friends can make some other plans cos' tonight is all about us
This feeling must be the best in the world
How can I just get closer to you girl
I wonder what kind of day it would be
If there were no you for me
Now I've been all around the world
but there's no place like being with you girl
Cos' you make me smile
My friends will have to understand that tonight is all about us
But your friends can make some other plans cos' tonight is all about us (x2)
Now I've been all around the world
but there's no place like being with you girl
Cos' you make me smile
Yeah here I come
What about your friends I don't wanna couse no s**t
But if ya slippin' back messages then come garage equipped
I'd flip ya twice just to find you're masculinityflex
Cos' if we're sexen on a platter ain't no need to get wet
I'd set it up around nine if you got the clock
No entourage just you on the solo spot
Who'll make it hot hot bumpin' in the back of your jeep
It's Bo Peep so you'd just better creep with me
You've been around the universe girls throwing your skirts
Pancakes wanna spread but the butter ain't worth
Silky silky you're the only vibe for me
You don't hevve to worry 'bout me tryin' to ride for free
Cos' in return I'm a burn assets arise
Naughty with the gridlock make your nature rise
Comprimise with the caramel chocolate bite
No company 'cos it's all about us tonight
My friends will have to understand that tonight is all about us
