Pesé District

Pesé District is a district (distrito) of Herrera Province in Panama. The population according to the 2000 census was 12,471. The district covers a total area of 284 km². The capital lies at the city of Pesé.

Administrative divisions

The district is divided administratively into the following corregimientos:

Pesé (capital), Las Cabras, El Pájaro, El Barrero, El Pedregoso, El Ciruelo, Sabanagrande and Rincón Hondo.

Pesé is a town and corregimiento in Pesé District, Herrera Province, Panama with a population of 2,565 as of 2010. It is the seat of Pesé District. Its population as of 1990 was 2,362; its population as of 2000 was 2,547.
