Pazhani (2008 film)

Pazhani Tamil: பழனி is a 2008 Indian Tamil action film movie with Bharath in lead role. It is directed by Perarasu and produced by director Shakthi Chidambaram under the banner Cinema paradise. Srikanth Deva scores music. Bharath plays the role of a car driver. Kajal Aggarwal is the heroine and Kushboo plays Bharath's elder sister.

The film was formally launched on 10 June 2007 and was released on 14 January 2008 as a Pongal release. This is the first film release for Kajal Aggarwal in Tamil. It is dubbed into Telugu as Bhargava and in Hindi as Shaktishali Shiva. It is also remade into Oriya as Gud boy. 'Yaarum Ennidam' is a popular love song from this film.

Plot

The film opens and ends with jail sequences. In both scenes the hero (Bharath) is seen behind the bars. The happenings from his release and his re-entry to the jail make the whole film. The hero, who comes out of the prison, puts his sister’s life on track through his heroics and goes back to the prison as a martyr.
