Pawqarqucha
Pawqarqucha (Quechua pawqar multi-coloured, qucha lake, lagoon, "multi-coloured lake", hispanicized spelling Paucarcocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Lima Region, Yauyos Province, Tanta District. It is situated at a height of about 4,222 metres (13,852 ft), about 6.5 km long and 0.87 km at its widest point. Pawqarqucha lies south of the Paryaqaqa mountain range, between P'itiqucha in the northwest and Pisququcha and Ch'uspiqucha in the southeast.
The archaeological site of Pirqa Pirqa is situated north of the lake.
