Paul Glover
Paul Glover (born July 18, 1947) is a community organizer currently based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Community work
He is the founder of the Ithaca Hours, one of the first local currency systems. He is also the founder of the Philadelphia Orchard Project, Citizen Planners of Los Angeles, the Ithaca Health Alliance, and several other organizations. He is author of several books and a former professor of urban studies at Temple University.
He consults and speaks on community economic development.
Travels
He walked across the United States, entirely on foot, in 1978.
Political career
Glover was invited by the Green Party of the United States to participate in its presidential primaries in 2004.
Glover was the Green Party of Pennsylvania's candidate for governor in 2014.
