Paul Casey

Paul Alexander Casey (born 21 July 1977) is an English golfer who is a member of the US-based PGA Tour. In 2009 he achieved his highest position, third, in the Official World Golf Ranking.

Early and personal life

Casey was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, but moved with his family to Weybridge, Surrey at the age of six. After attending Cleves School, Weybridge and then Hampton School, west London, he studied A levels at Strode's College, Egham, Surrey. He then took a golf scholarship at Arizona State University.

In 2008, he married Jocelyn Hefner, a distant cousin of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. The couple lived a quiet life on a remote ranch in rural Arizona, where keen amateur horse woman Jocelyn competed in local equestrian events. But after she abandoned an interior design course in 2010, the couple agreed to divorce.

After they met at the Formula 1 Chequered Flag Ball at the 2011 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Casey started dating television presenter Pollyanna Woodward. The couple got engaged during the Christmas 2013/New Year 2014 period.

Paul Casey (footballer)

Paul Casey (born 6 October 1961) is an English former footballer who made 74 appearances in the Football League playing for Sheffield United and Lincoln City. He played as a full back.

Casey was born in Rinteln, Lower Saxony. He began his football career as an apprentice with Sheffield United, playing 25 times for the club in the league and helping the club win the Fourth Division title in 1981–82, but was then released and joined Alliance Premier League club Boston United. He played more than 250 first-team games, including an appearance in the 1985 FA Trophy final, and was the club's player of the season in 1983–84, before moving to Lincoln City in April 1988 for a £13,000 fee. He played the last ten matches of that season as Lincoln clinched the Football Conference title, and went on to make 69 first-team appearances before returning to Boston in 1991. He stayed at Boston for another five seasons, in the Conference and the Northern Premier League, then moved on to Lincoln United.

Paul Casey (born 14 October 1981) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who played for Dublin and currently plays his club football for Lucan Sarsfields.

He is a wing-back. He captained Dublin during their Leinster Minor Football victory in 1999 and also won an under 21 medal in 2002. He made his league debut for Dublin in 2002 against Offaly. Casey's father was a Munster Minor Football Championship winner with Kerry in 1968. Paul has won seven Leinster Senior Football Championship medals with Dublin in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2012, four as a starter and three as a panelist. He won a 2006 Sigerson Cup medal with DCU with a win over Queens University Belfast and was vice captain on this winning team. Captain was current Dublin team mate Bryan Cullen. Paul also won an einster minor medal in 1999, and an Under 21 Leinster medal in 2002. Paul was on Dublin's winning team for the 2008 O'Byrne Cup winning team which defeated Longford in the final.
