Visions (Haken album)

Visions is the second studio album of progressive metal band Haken. The album was released mostly for the attention of people at ProgPower USA on 17 September 2011, with an official release date set for 24 October 2011.

Reception

Visions received high praise from Sea of Tranquility webzine. It was described as "a staggeringly brilliant example of progressive metal" by Pete Pardo and "probably the final progressive masterpiece of 2011" by Murat Batmaz.

Visions is an album by American jazz guitarist Grant Green featuring performances recorded in 1971 and released on the Blue Note label.

Reception

The Allmusic review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine awarded the album 3 stars and stated "Visions is a bit laid-back, and the electric piano-heavy arrangements are a little dated, but Grant Green never made a commercial pop-jazz album as appealing and satisfying".

Dave Lee (DJ)

Dave Lee (born 18 June 1964) is a British DJ and house music producer, also known by the stage name Joey Negro. He has released music under a variety of pseudonyms, including Jakatta, Doug Willis, Raven Maize, Sessomatto as well as being part of The Sunburst Band. Lee has scored a number of Top 40 hits, among them "American Dream", "So Lonely" and "My Vision", all under the name Jakatta.

Early life

Lee was born on the Isle of Wight, but raised in Thorpe-le-Soken in Essex. His mother is the novelist Maureen Lee.

The Kyiv Passage (Ukrainian: Київський Пасаж, Kyivs’kyi Pasazh; as in the French word Passage) is a building complex with a small, narrow street (passage) stretched through it. The street address of the building is Khreshchatyk, 15, city of Kyiv. Located between two parallel streets Khreshchatyk and vulytsia Zankovetskoyi, the passage runs parallel to vulytsia Arkhitektora Horodetskoho.

The street has many small outdoor cafés and shopping stores on the buildings' first floors and residential apartments on the upper floors.

Passage (dressage)

The passage is a movement seen in upper-level dressage, in which the horse performs a highly elevated and extremely powerful trot. The horse is very collected and moves with great impulsion.

The passage differs from the working, medium, collected, and extended trot in that the horse raises a diagonal pair high off the ground and suspends the leg for a longer period than seen in the other trot types. The hindquarters are very engaged, and the knees and hocks are flexed more than the other trot types. The horse appears to trot in slow motion, making it look as if it is dancing. The passage is first introduced in the dressage intermediaire test II. A horse must be well-confirmed in its training to perform the passage, and must be proficient in collecting while remaining energetic, calm, and supple. The horse must also have built up the correct muscles to do the strenuous movement.
