Party Girl (McFly song)
"Party Girl" is a song by British pop rock band McFly. It was released as the lead single from their fifth studio album, Above the Noise (2010). The song premiered on UK radio on 14 July 2010 on In:Demand, and was released on 5 September 2010, where it debuted at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart; marking the band's sixteenth Top 10 single to date.
On 25 August 2010 the song was added to BBC Radio 1's A-List. "Party Girl" also features on the compilations Pop Party 8 and Now That's What I Call Music! 77. The song was played on the show Pretty Little Liars and has been continuously played on EastEnders.
Background
After the release of "Falling in Love", McFly headed back into the studio. On 22 January 2010, it was announced that the band were going to re-sign with former label Island Records. This was later revealed to be a 50/50 deal that sees all profits, except publishing, split between Universal and McFly, including money from touring, record sales, merchandise and sponsorship. The band worked with producer Dallas Austin on this, their fifth studio album.

Party Girl is an American sitcom based on the 1995 film of the same name that aired on Fox in September 1996. The series stars Christine Taylor, Swoosie Kurtz, and John Cameron Mitchell.
Synopsis
Christine Taylor stars as Mary, a girl whose mother has died leaving her to find herself in the clubs and parties of New York City. She is finally given a chance to prove herself thanks to Godmother Judy (Kurtz), who hires her to work in a library.
Marketing of the series centered around Taylor's recent popularity for her portrayal of Marcia Brady in The Brady Bunch Movie. One television commercial featured a parody of the opening/closing credits of The Brady Bunch, but Taylor appeared (as Mary) in each box. Although six episodes were filmed, only four were aired and the show was quickly cancelled.

Party Girl is a (1958) American film noir, directed by Nicholas Ray and starring Robert Taylor, Cyd Charisse and Lee J. Cobb. It was the last film Taylor did under contract for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
Plot
Slick lawyer Thomas Farrell has made a career of defending Chicago mobsters in court. At a party for mob boss Rico Angelo, he meets chorus girl Vicki Gaye, who accepted $100 to attend the party and another $400 from another gangster, Louis Canetto, from his gambling winnings.
Farrell gives her a ride home, each expressing disapproval at the way the other makes money. Vicki finds her roommate Joy dead by suicide, pregnant by a married criminal. After a long night of questioning by police, Farrell asks that Vicki be given a raise and featured number on stage at the Golden Rooster club, which Rico owns.
The lawyer and Vicki begin a romance. She's struck by the way Farrell, who is lame, uses his disability to manipulate jurors while getting Canetto off on a murder charge. A surgeon is found who might be able to properly mend Farrell's hip, so he goes to New York for the operation.
About You Now
"About You Now" is a song by British girl group Sugababes from their fifth studio album, Change (2007). Written and produced by Dr. Luke along with Cathy Dennis and Steven Wolf, it was released on 24 September 2007 by Island Records as the lead single from the album, the first to feature Amelle Berrabah on all tracks. An uptempo pop track that combines heavy elements of pop rock, and dance-pop, it infuses light electronic sounds. Lyrically, "About You Now" finds the protagonist thinking deeply over her relationship with her love interest from whom she parted.
The song was generally well received by music critics, who complimented its genre mixing production as well as its aurally remarkable US pop influence. Some of them also described the song as a "pop-electro-rock masterpiece" and called it the best Sugababes single in years. Upon its release, "About You Now" became the group's sixth UK number one hit and highest-charting single since 2005's "Push the Button." It remained atop the UK Singles Chart for four weeks. It also reached the top of the charts in Hungary, as well as the top ten in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Norway, and Spain. The Sugababes' highest-selling single to date, it has sold 540,500 copies as of October 2015.
