Parkal

Parakala is a municipality in Warangal district in the state of Telangana in India. It is in the crossroads of major towns like Huzurabad on ones side and Bhupalpally on the other side.And also other side District city of Hanumakonda. A local stream named Chalivagu runs though it which is the source of supply for tapwater to the townsfolk.

Economy

The economy of Parkal is purely based on commercial and retail consumer business. The town is known as a shopping center for the surrounding villages and towns and a majority of the trading community conduct business related to groceries, clothing, pharmaceuticals, iron and hardware.

Farmers from the surrounding villages sell their crops and vegetables in the Parkal market.

Corruption

Citizens have to bear the costs of Mineral water as the town's Water supply system is so horrible that they supply unfiltered water which are often brown coloured ,God knows how much coliform content it has. And the corrupt administration often deletes this link fearing when this page might come to the notice of Public. Even the Town's roads have to be laid fresh/ worse left in bad shape after every Rainy season. It just goes on to show how poor materials are being used in construction. These are the corrupt Lobbyists having nexus with the Politicians maybe.
