6½ Avenue is a north-south pedestrian passageway in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, running from West 57th to West 51st Streets between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.
The pedestrian-only avenue is a quarter-mile corridor of privately owned public spaces, such as open-access lobbies and canopied space, which are open except at night. There are stop signs and stop ahead signs at six crossings between 51st and 56th Streets. The mid-block crossing at 57th Street is equipped with a traffic light. At the crosswalk areas, there are sidewalk pedestrian ramps with textured surface and flexible delineators to prevent vehicles parking in the areas.
Each intersection along the thoroughfare has a street name sign that reads "6½ AV" and the name of the cross street to officially mark the street name. The mid-block stop signs are unusual for Manhattan, and the fractional avenue name is a new idea for the numbered street system of New York City.
In 2011, the Friends of Privately Owned Public Spaces proposed the creation of a six-block pathway from 51st to 57th Streets that would be mid-block between Sixth and Seventh Avenues to ease pedestrian traffic. The proposal called for connecting public spaces in the area, that were not known to most pedestrians, into a pedestrian corridor and naming it Holly Whyte Way. The idea was presented to the Community Board 5 Transportation Committee and the full Community Board 5, then the board sent a formal request to the New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT) in May 2011.
137 Avenue is a major arterial road in north Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This road travels through residential, industrial and commercial areas, including shopping and entertainment centres and districts.
The road starts at Ray Gibbon Drive, in southwest St. Albert, Big Lake being west of there. It links south St. Albert with Ray Gibbon Drive (St. Albert's West Bypass Road), by way of Riel Drive and Sir Winston Churchill Avenue. Within St. Albert the road is named LeClair Way. After entering Edmonton, at Sir Winston Churchill Avenue, it passes under Anthony Henday Drive, and continues through north Edmonton.
137 Avenue passes Golden West Golf Course and St. Albert Trail Golf Course between 170 Street, and St. Albert Trail (Mark Messier Trail). Past there is the St. Albert Trail and Pembina commercial areas, and Castle Downs neighbourhood. The avenue between Castle Downs Road and 97 Street forms the southern boundary of the old CFB Griesbach. At 97 Street (Highway 28) the road passes through the northgate commercial area with Northgate Centre and North Town Centre, and at 66 Street it passes Londonderry Mall. 137 Avenue again passes through commercial districts at Manning Drive and 50 Street, the latter being called Clareview Town Centre, and between which the LRT passes over. One final commercial area is located by Victoria Trail before 137 Avenue turns into 20 Street NW at Hermitage Park.
Elysium, located in the Elysium and Cebrenia quadrangles, is the second largest volcanic region on Mars, after Tharsis. The region includes the volcanoes (from north to south) Hecates Tholus, Elysium Mons and Albor Tholus. The province is centered roughly on Elysium Mons at 25°00′N 147°12′E / 25.0°N 147.2°E. Elysium Planitia is a broad plain to the south of Elysium, centered at 3.0° N, 154.7° E. Another large volcano, Apollinaris Mons, lies south of Elysium Planitia and is not part of the province. Besides having large volcanoes, Elysium has several areas with long trenches, called fossa or fossae (plural) on Mars. They include the Cerberus Fossae, Elysium Fossae, and Hephaestus Fossae.

Elysium is a 2013 American science fiction action thriller film produced, written and directed by Neill Blomkamp. It stars Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Alice Braga and Sharlto Copley. The film takes place on both a ravaged Earth, and a luxurious space habitat (Stanford torus design) called Elysium. It explores political and sociological themes such as immigration, overpopulation, health care, exploitation, the justice system, and social class issues. The film was released on August 9, 2013 by TriStar Pictures, in both conventional and IMAX Digital theaters. It was a commercial success and received generally positive reviews from critics, even though many considered it a disappointment after Blomkamp's first film District 9. Elysium was released on DVD and Blu-ray discs in Region 1 on December 17, 2013.
In 2154, Earth is overpopulated and polluted. Most of the earth's citizens live in poverty, on the edge of starvation, and with little technology and medical care. The rich and powerful live on Elysium — a gigantic, terraformed space habitat located in Earth's orbit. Elysium is technologically advanced with some of its technology including Med-Bays: medical machines that can cure all diseases, reverse the aging process and regenerate new body parts. A long-running feud exists between the wealthy residents of Elysium and the citizens of Earth, who want Elysian technology to cure their medical ailments.
Elysium is the second studio album from The Velvet Teen. It was first released in Japan on May 22, 2004, and in the US on July 20, 2004. A special edition version of the album was released in Japan only with a bonus DVD. The album was also pressed on double 10" vinyl and released through Pandacide Records in June 2005, featuring a bonus track. Elysium features absolutely no guitars, instead relying on keyboards and string and horn arrangements. Elysium turned out to be the last Velvet Teen album featuring the original line-up of Judah Nagler, Josh Staples and Logan Whitehurst. Logan was diagnosed with brain cancer and left the band shortly before the album's release. Casey Deitz replaced Logan on drums in spring 2004 and for the subsequent tour for the album. Logan Whitehurst died on December 3, 2006.
Pandemonium is the name of multiple Gerstlauer steel spinning roller coasters that are located at several Six Flags theme parks including Six Flags New England, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags St. Louis, Six Flags Over Texas, and previously at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom which was relocated to Six Flags México as The Joker. Its design consists of several cars holding four riders each. While the cars traverse the track, they spin around according to the angle of the track and the shifts in the riders' weight. All five rides were installed by Ride Entertainment Group, who handle all of Gerstlauer's operations in the Western Hemisphere.
The original Pandemonium opened at Six Flags New England on April 14, 2005 as Mr. Six's Pandemonium (Six Flags dropped the "Mr. Six's" prefix one year later). It was the only Gerstlauer spinning roller coaster at a Six Flags park until 2007 and 2008 when Six Flags opened another 4 spinning roller coasters — all named Tony Hawk's Big Spin. The rides were originally billed as the "total Tony Hawk experience" and were designed to have the look and feel of giant red-and-black skateparks.
