Pali Blues

Pali Blues was an American women's soccer team, which played from 2008 to 2014. The team was a member of the United Soccer Leagues W-League, the second tier of women's soccer in the United States and Canada. The team played in the Western Conference against Colorado Force, Colorado Rush, LA Strikers, Santa Clarita Blue Heat, Seattle Sounders Women, Vancouver Whitecaps FC (women) and Victoria Highlanders Women.

The team played its home games in the "Stadium-by-the-Sea" at Palisades High School in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles, California. The club's colors were pale blue, orange and white and was a sister club to the Los Angeles Blues of the USL Pro league.

The club enjoyed robust fan support from the Tony Danza Army, their official supporters group. The "Stadium By The Sea" was widely considered one of the toughest places to play in the W-League, confirmed by Blues manager Charlie Naimo, who called the Tony Danza Army's support the best he has seen in the United Soccer Leagues.

Orange County Blues U-23

Orange County Blues U-23 is an American soccer team based in Costa Mesa, California, United States. Founded in 2011 as the Los Angeles Blues 23, the team plays in the USL Premier Development League (PDL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, in the Southwest Division of the Western Conference.

The team plays its home games at Vanguard University Stadium. The team's colors are sky blue, dark blue and white.

The club was known as Los Angeles Blues 23 in 2011, Pali Blues in 2012, OC Blues Strikers FC in 2013, and OC Pateadores Blues in 2014–15.

History

Los Angeles Blues 23 was announced as a USL Premier Development League expansion franchise on April 7, 2011 as a replacement for the Hollywood United Hitmen franchise, which left the PDL for the National Premier Soccer League just before the start of the 2011 PDL season. The team is part of the development program of the Los Angeles Blues USL Pro team, which joined in 2011, and its sister club is the Pali Blues of the United Soccer Leagues W-League, whose name it adopted as of 2012.
