Palette (company)

Palette (Japanese: ぱれっと, Hepburn: Paretto, also stylized as PALETTE) is a Japanese visual novel studio founded in 2002. It is an adult game brand under Clearrave (株式会社クリアレーヴ, Kabushiki gaisha Kuriarēvu), a software company located in Mitaka, Tokyo. Palette is known for developing Mashiroiro Symphony, their ninth title released in 2009. It was ported to the PlayStation Portable and was adapted into an anime television series in 2011.

Palette Darkside

Palette Darkside (Palette darkside) is a sub-brand of Palette. Their sole work Kegareta Neoro: Taorareta Shimai was released on November 12, 2004. Palette Darkside's official website was closed on April 21, 2007, when Palette announced the first report of Sakura Strasse.

Internet radio show

An Internet radio show titled Homerarete Nobiru Radio (ほめられてのびるらじお, Homerarete Nobiru Rajio, lit. A Radio Which Thrives on Praise), abbreviated as HomeRadi (ほめらじ, Homeraji), began to broadcast on March 8, 2007. This series is sponsored by Purple Software and Palette, and the show is hosted by Hideki Ogihara and Kazane. The show title was Homerarete Nobiru Radio PP at first, but later it changed to Homerarete Nobiru Radio Z on May 5, 2011.

Palette (video game)

Palette (パレット, Paretto) is a Japanese language freeware adventure game that was made with RPG Tsukūru 95 by Nishida Yoshitaka (西田好孝). The game was highly acclaimed in the Fourth ASCII Entertainment Software Contest, awarded a Grand Prix of 10,000,000 yen, which resulted in remaking the game for PlayStation by Enterbrain. That version, entitled Forget me not -Palette-, saw the release on April 26, 2001 exclusively in Japan.

Gameplay

In Palette, players would help a girl, referred to as B.D., whom apparently turned amnesiac by an accident, restore her memory as a well-known psychiatrist, Dr. Shian. Players essentially control B.D. in the scenery of her memory, which constitutes a maze with rooms and passages. In exploration, there are two modes of gameplay; in one mode, maps are colored in black and white often sprinkled with bright red, that denotes for example blood, with a noise continuously ringing, in which players can go between maps. With B.D. moving to another map, the gauge shown on the right side of the screen decreases one by one, it occurs also when B.D. touches barriers that are placed occasionally in maps. When the said gauge reached the bottom line, B.D. claims headache, and players would be sent back to the map of Shian's office. Shian would call her again to continue the game.

Company (Heroes)

The Company refers to a fictional covert international organization in the NBC drama Heroes. Its primary purpose is to identify, monitor and study those individuals with genetically-derived special abilities. The Company played a central role in the plot of Volume Two, during the second season of the series. It is a very notable organization in the series and is connected to several of the characters.

Founders

In season two, Kaito Nakamura revealed that there were twelve founders of the Company, and a photo of the twelve is later seen (listed below under "Group photo"); it did not include Adam Monroe, an immortal human with the ability of rapid cellular regeneration, who is described as the one who "brought them all together." The Company began sometime between January 1977 and February 14, 1977. Monroe was locked away for thirty years on November 2, 1977, concluding that he only spent about 10 to 11 months with the Company. In the first season of the show, Daniel Linderman heads the Company until his demise. He is substituted in the second season by Bob Bishop, who is implied to be the Company's financial source. However, when Sylar kills him in the beginning of Season 3, Angela Petrelli takes over. Several of the founders have children who are posthumans and who are main characters within the series.
