The Sugababes were an English pop girl group, formed in 1998 with founding members Siobhán Donaghy, Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan. Their debut album, One Touch, was released in the UK through London Records on 27 November 2000. The album achieved moderate success, peaking at number 26 in April 2001 and eventually being certified Gold. In 2001, Donaghy departed the group amid rumours of a rift with Buchanan and the group were dropped by their record label. With the introduction of Heidi Range, the group began to experience a higher level of commercial success whilst keeping the critical acclaim they had achieved with their debut album. They released three studio albums before Buena announced her departure in December 2005, leading to Amelle Berrabah being brought in to replace her. Following the release of their first greatest hits album, the new line-up released two studio albums. In September 2009, after 11 years in the Sugababes, Buchanan, the final original member, was replaced by former UK Eurovision entry Jade Ewen. Range, Berrabah and Ewen released the group's seventh studio album, Sweet 7, in 2010, after which they signed to RCA Records, before announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2011. In 2013, Ewen confessed that the Sugababes had split two years earlier. The original line-up of the band reformed in 2011, under the new name Mutya Keisha Siobhan.
Overload or overloaded may refer to:
Overload (超载乐队 chaozai) is a Chinese rock band, and considered the first speed and thrash metal band on the Chinese heavy metal scene.
Gao Qi (高旗), the former guitarist and songwriter of the band The Breathing (呼吸乐队), set up his own band Overload with guitarist Han Hongbin (韩鸿宾), Li Yanliang (李延亮), bassist Wang Xueke (王学科) and drummer Zhao Muyang (赵牧阳), all well accomplished and well-known heavy rock musicians in China at that time. The band made their band debut on Halloween 1991.
The songs Gao Qi wrote combine western rock and Chinese literature and his performance burst the enthusiasm of both audients and players. The band built up a thrash metal style which had attracted a large number of fans in a short time.
The first single "The shadow of ancestor," was recorded on the album Rock Beijing a compilation album of Chinese rock in 1993. Meanwhile, Gao Qi's knowledge in Chinese rock and modern Western music give him chance to be engaged as a music producer and songwriter in the film Long hair in the wind and as a freelancer for foreign music at Beijing Music Broadcasting.
Overload is a bi-monthly professional computer magazine published by ACCU, that was established in 1993 and is edited by Frances Buontempo. It aims to "publish a high standard of articles about all aspects of software development". All issues of Overload, starting from August 1998, are available online.
Overload was started in 1993 as a magazine of the "Turbo C++ SIG". By 1994, it had become a "journal of C++ SIG", with an appropriate change in scope. At that time there were several magazines with similar scope, including C/C++ Users Journal, C++ Report, and to a lesser extent, Dr Dobb's Journal. The scope of Overload continued to be broadened and in 2000 the magazine was relabeled from "journal of C++ SIG" to "journal of ACCU". About the same time, a board of "readers" was established, to assist authors with improving their articles.
Over time, many competing publications have been discontinued (C++ Report has been discontinued in 2002, C/C++ Users Journal in 2006, Dr Dobbs Journal in 2009), and by 2010 Overload has become the only magazine to cover this area, which has attracted articles of notable writers such as former contributing editor of C/C++ Users Journal Matthew Wilson and creator of C++ Bjarne Stroustrup.
Strange fear I ain't felt for years
The boy's coming and I'm close to tears
I can't let go of you now
Imagination's playing round for free
In my world I take him out for tea
Oh my God, can't say no
Skipping school, go walk for air
I just had to get out of bed
I'm on overload in my head
Train comes I don't know its destination
It's a one-way ticket to a madman's situation
Train comes I don't know its destination
It's a one-way ticket to a madman's situation
Life is a dream, time does come true
And in my sleep I think of you
Feather bed by myself
Basically probability
Says that fate's come side with me
It's been so long on my shelf
Train comes I don't know its destination
It's a one-way ticket to a madman's situation
Train comes I don't know its destination
It's a one-way ticket to a madman's situation
The tension is incredible, boy I'm in charge
You know how I feel for you,
Will you stop, or will you just keep going
Please don't say no, no, no, no
Train comes I don't know its destination
(Yeah yeah yeah)
It's a one-way ticket to a madman's situation
(Situation)
Train comes I don't know its destination
(I know, I know)
It's a one-way ticket to a madman's situation
(Situation)
Train comes I don't know its destination
(Our secret's safe in bed)
It's a one-way ticket to a madman's situation
(Situation)
Train comes I don't know its destination
(I know, I know)
It's a one-way ticket to a madman's situation
