Edison (NJT station)

Edison is a New Jersey Transit station 30.3 miles southwest of New York on the Northeast Corridor Line, in Edison, New Jersey. Known as Stelton station until circa 1955, it is at the corner of Central and Plainfield Avenues (County Route 529) in the Stelton area of Edison Township, and accessible by car via Reed Street (off Central Avenue). A small privately run convenience store operates in the waiting room of the north/New York City-bound platform. Passengers use a ticket machine as there is no station agent or station office. Elevators and ramps make both the north- and south-bound platforms wheelchair accessible. With the growing population of Edison, ridership has increased over the last 10–15 years, resulting in a shortage of parking spaces on weekdays and heavy traffic during rush hours.

In early 2005 plans were announced to expand the station, notably with the addition of 800 parking spaces. A new parking lot with 477 spaces opened on January 1, 2010.

Edison (crater)

Edison is a lunar crater on the far side of the Moon. It is located just behind the north-northeastern limb of the Moon, a region that is sometimes brought into sight from Earth during favorable librations. However even at such times not much detail can be discerned, and the crater is better observed by orbiting spacecraft.

The Edison crater is attached to the southeastern outer rim of the crater Lomonosov, to the east of the walled plain Joliot. The satellite crater Edison T is attached to the western rim of Edison and the eastern rim of Joliot. To the south of Edison is the crater Dziewulski, and due east is Artamonov.

The outer rim of this crater is somewhat eroded, with two small craters along the southern edge, and the outer rampart of Lomonosov intruding slightly into the interior floor. The most intact section of rim is along the eastern side. The interior floor is relatively level, particularly in the southern half, and there is a small craterlet near the western inner wall. The floor displays dark patches and streaks of higher albedo surface where the ray system from Giordano Bruno to the north-northwest. However it is not as dark in hue as the floor of Lomonosov.

Time limit

A time limit or deadline is a narrow field of time, or a particular point in time, by which an objective or task must be accomplished. Once that time has passed, the item may be considered overdue (e.g., for work projects or school assignments). In the case of work assignments or projects that are not completed by the deadline, this may adversely affect the employee's performance rating. In the case of school assignments, essays or reports submitted after the deadline, marks or grades may be deducted from the student's assessment.

In some cases, no materials can be submitted after the deadline. This may occur with Calls for Proposal, commercial tenders for bids, and application dates for universities and professional schools. For tests and examinations in schools, universities and job competitions, once the time limit for the test is up, the test-takers must put down their pens or pencils and hand in their test.

In project management, deadlines are most often associated with milestone goals.

Overdue (The Sandpipers album)

Overdue was the final LP album by The Sandpipers, released by Satril Records in 1977 in the U.K. with catalog number SATL 4006. It was also released in Japan as Singapore Girl with catalog number YX-7145-SR and a different track order. The album was not released in the U.S.

Coming six years after the Sandpipers' last studio album, Overdue contained several songs co-written by group member Jim Brady. Original member Richard Shoff rejoined for the album with Gary Duckworth replacing Ralph Nichols.

Of the three singles released from the album, one, a disco version of Hang On Sloopy, charted at #32 on the U.K. singles chart. Another track, "You're A Great Way To Fly (Singapore Girl)", was released as a promotional item in 1979 by Singapore Airlines.

Showbiz (album)

Showbiz is the debut studio album by English alternative rock band Muse, released in the United Kingdom on 4 October 1999 through Mushroom Records. Recorded between April and May at RAK Studios and Sawmills Studio, respectively, the album was produced by John Leckie and Paul Reeve in conjunction with the band. Showbiz was a moderate commercial success, reaching number 29 on the UK Albums Chart.

Showbiz was released in various regions around the world through the band's different regional labels: Naïve in France; Motor in Germany, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine; Maverick in the United States; Play It Again Sam (PIAS) in Benelux; and Avex Trax in Japan. The album was also released earlier by some labels; in France it was released on 7 September, the Motor edition was sold from 20 September and the album entered American stores on 28 September. A bonus CD was released in Benelux, which contained the same content as the Random 1-8 extended play, without the hidden remixes of "Sunburn".
