Outlook, Montana

Outlook is a town in Sheridan County, Montana, United States. The population was 47 at the 2010 census.

Geography

Outlook is located at 48°53′20″N 104°46′46″W / 48.88889°N 104.77944°W / 48.88889; -104.77944 (48.888847, -104.779317).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.30 square miles (3.37 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

2010 census

As of the census of 2010, there were 47 people, 26 households, and 12 families residing in the town. The population density was 36.2 inhabitants per square mile (14.0/km²). There were 42 housing units at an average density of 32.3 per square mile (12.5/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 95.7% White and 4.3% Native American.

There were 26 households of which 15.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 38.5% were married couples living together, 7.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 53.8% were non-families. 53.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 30.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.81 and the average family size was 2.50.

Montana ⁱ/mɒnˈtænə/ is a state in the Western region of the United States. The state's name is derived from the Spanish word montaña (mountain). Montana has several nicknames, although none official, including "Big Sky Country" and "The Treasure State", and slogans that include "Land of the Shining Mountains" and more recently "The Last Best Place". Other significant economic activities include oil, gas, coal and hard rock mining, lumber, and the fastest-growing sector, tourism. The health care, service, and government sectors also are significant to the state's economy. Millions of tourists annually visit Glacier National Park, the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, and Yellowstone National Park.

Plot

Claire (Kyra Sedgwick) is a professional hit woman who has been targeted by her own organization. Her boss (Robbie Coltrane) gives her a low level task of retrieving his runaway girlfriend Kitty (Robin Tunney). Once Claire tracks down Kitty, she is unable to stop her from killing the boss' incompetent son (Ethan Embry).

Montana wine

Montana wine refers to wine made from grapes grown in the U.S. state of Montana. There are eight wineries in Montana, with most producing wine from fruits other than grapes or from grapes grown in other states, such as California, Oregon, or Washington. There are no American Viticultural Areas in Montana.
