Out with a Bang

Out with a Bang is the debut album of American country music artist David Lee Murphy. It features the hit single "Dust on the Bottle", which reached Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks in late 1995. The track "High Weeds and Rust" was previously recorded by Doug Stone on his 1990 self-titled debut album. "Just Once" is also included on the soundtrack to the 1994 movie 8 Seconds. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA for sales of 500,000.

"Out with a Bang" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist David Lee Murphy. It was released in November 1995 as the fifth and final single and title track from his album Out with a Bang. The song peaked at number 13 on the U.S. country charts and peaked at number 5 on the Canadian country charts. It was written by Murphy and Kim Tribble.

Critical reception

Larry Flick, of Billboard magazine reviewed the song favorably calling it an "uptempo ode to goodtimes." He goes on to say that Murphy has a "distinctive voice and unique phasing that never gets lost in the production."

Chart positions

"Out with a Bang" debuted at number 70 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks for the week of November 25, 1995.

With a Bang, entitled as Yureru Keishichou Sennihyakumannin no Hitojichi (揺れる警視庁 1200万人の人質^?, lit. "The Trembling Metropolitan Police Headquarter and 12 Million Hostages") in its original Japanese publication, is the 107th story arc of the Japanese manga series Case Closed, which is referred to as Meitantei Conan (名探偵コナン^?, lit. Great Detective Conan, officially translated as Detective Conan) in Japan. The arc follows Conan Edogawa as he works with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department to catch a bomber.

The arc spanned 6 chapters which were published in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine. They were later encapsulated into tankōbon volumes 36 and 37 which were released in Japan on February 18, 2002 and April 18, 2002 respectively. The arc was later adapted into the anime series as episode 304 which was broadcast by Nippon Television Network System on January 6, 2003.

Viz Media localized and published the two volumes on October 12, 2010 and January 11, 2011. Volume 36 appeared on the New York Times Manga Best Sellers list during the week ending on October 24, 2010.
