Jos se nisam ni brijao
al' mi zivot vec prijao
kad sam krenuo amidzi
prasnim drumom do Han-pijeska
A ispod gore Romanije
ma da je moglo i ranije
sretoh mladu opaticu
blijedu, ma lijepu, kao freska
Nije bila od kamena,
i cim se takla mog ramena
cudno mi se nasmesila
u njoj neki djavo klija
I ne znam dal' se zaljubila
al' kao divlja me ljubila
i cudne reci mi saptala
