Lupșa

Lupșa (German: Wolfsdorf; Hungarian: Nagylupsa) is a commune located in Alba County, Romania. It is composed of 23 villages: Bârdești, Bârzan, Curmătură, După Deal, Geamăna (Szászavinc), Hădărău (Hadaró), Holobani, Lazuri, Lunca, Lupșa, Mănăstire, Mărgaia, Mușca (Muska), Pârâu-Cărbunări, Pițiga, Poșogani, Șasa (Sásza), Trifești, Văi, Valea Holhorii, Valea Lupșii (Lupsapatak), Valea Șesii and Vința (Vinca).

Ghost (software)

Ghost (an acronym for general hardware-oriented system transfer) is a disk cloning and backup tool originally developed by Murray Haszard in 1995 for Binary Research. The technology was acquired in 1998 by Symantec.

The backup and recovery functionality has been replaced by Symantec System Recovery (SSR), although the Ghost imaging technology is still actively developed and is available as part of Symantec Ghost Solution Suite.

History

Binary Research developed Ghost in Auckland, New Zealand. After the Symantec acquisition, a few functions (such as translation into other languages) were moved elsewhere, but the main development remained in Auckland until October 2009 at which time much was moved to India.

Technologies developed by 20/20 Software were integrated into Ghost after their acquisition by Symantec in April 2000.

PowerQuest

At the end of 2003, Symantec acquired its largest competitor in the disk-cloning field, PowerQuest. On August 2, 2004, Norton Ghost 9.0 was released as a new consumer version of Ghost, which is based on PowerQuest′s Drive Image version 7, and provides Live imaging of a Windows system. Ghost 9 continues to leverage the PowerQuest file format, meaning it is not backward compatible with previous versions of Ghost. However, a version of Ghost 8.0 is included on the Ghost 9 recovery disk to support existing Ghost customers.

Only U

"Only U" is a song by American singer-songwriter Ashanti from her third studio album, Concrete Rose (2004). The song's introduction uses a sample of Club Nouveau's 1986 song "Why You Treat Me So Bad". "Only U" is an R&B and rock-tinged song, that finds Ashanti in love and willing to do anything, no matter the cost to make sure he's her boyfriend.

Released in January 2005 as the album's lead single, the track reached number thirteen on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in January, 2005. It peaked at number two in the United Kingdom and number 4 in Ireland, becoming her most successful single in both countries. The song received generally favorable reviews from music critics, with most praising its sexy lyrics and her vocal performance.

Background and release

After her successful second studio album Chapter II (2003), which topped the Billboard 200 chart and was certified Platinum, spawned two hit singles, "Rock wit U (Awww Baby)" and "Rain on Me", and earned her three Grammy nominations, Ashanti released her first Christmas album called "Ashanti's Christmas" in 2003. However, the album received overwhelming negative reviews and didn't provide much success on the charts.

Voodoo (VIXX album)

Voodoo is the first studio album by the South Korean boy band VIXX. It was released on November 25, 2013 under the label of Jellyfish Entertainmentt. It features the single "Voodoo Doll".

Promotion

VIXX first performed "Voodoo Doll" live during their Milky Way Global Showcase finale concert in Seoul which took place on November 17, 2013. The first broadcast performance of "Voodoo Doll" was shown on November 20 through a televised premiere of VIXX's finale concert on SBS MTV. Later that same day, VIXX had their first comeback stage on MBC Music's Show Champion, performing both "Only U" and "Voodoo Doll". On December 6, the group won their first music show award on Music Bank with "Voodoo Doll".

"Only U"

"Only U" (Hangul: 대답은 너니까; RR: Daedabeun Neonikka; lit. "Because You're the Answer") served as a pre-release single. It was produced by songwriter Shinsadong Tiger, and co-produced by 4Beontaja and Jellyfish Entertainment CEO Hwang Se-jun. Shinsadong Tiger and 4Beontaja arranged the song. VIXX's rapper Ravi teamed up with writer Kim Ji-hyang to write the lyrics.
