One for the Kids is the third studio album by American pop punk band Yellowcard. It was released on April 3, 2001 on Lobster Records and is the first Yellowcard album to include Ryan Key as lead singer and guitarist. It was produced, engineered and mixed by Darian Rundall at Stall No. 2 in Redondo Beach, California. Six of the songs, "Drifting," "Sureshot," "Big Apple Heartbreak," "Cigarette," "October Nights," and "A.W.O.L.," are featured on Microsoft's snowboarding video game Amped 2 for Xbox. "Drifting" and "Rock Star Land" both originally appeared on the band's previous EP, Still Standing (EP).
All songs written and composed by Yellowcard except "Cigarette" by Ian Ennis.
Blink-182 is the eponymously titled fifth studio album by the American rock band Blink-182. It was produced by Jerry Finn and released November 18, 2003, through Geffen Records. Following the band's ascent to stardom and success of their prior two releases, the trio were compelled to take a break and subsequently participated in various side projects (Box Car Racer and Transplants). When they regrouped, the band felt inspired to approach song structure and arrangements differently on their next effort together. The record was left untitled as to refrain from labeling its content, and its packaging features a "smiley face" logo inspired by pop art.
Recorded throughout 2003, Blink-182 marks a departure from the band's earlier work, infusing experimental elements into their usual pop punk sound, inspired by lifestyle changes (the band members all became fathers before the album was released) and side projects. Its songs are characterized by downcast and expansive sonic atmospheres, showcasing what critics dubbed a more elaborate, mature side of the band. Songwriting is more personal in nature and explores darker territory, touching upon the realities of adulthood and unexpected hardships. The record features a collaboration with The Cure frontman Robert Smith.

The Kids are a Belgian punk rock band formed in 1976.
They broke up in 1985, but came back together in 1996 for the soundtrack recording of the Belgian film Dief (Thief). They have been together ever since and still play gigs around the world.
The Kids was a Norwegian band from Trondheim founded in 1979, not to be confused with the eponymous Belgian punk rock band. Their most familiar hit was Forelska i lærer'n (translated to "In love with the teacher"), in 1980. Norske jenter ("Norwegian girls") was another hit. The band released music in Sweden with Swedish language versions of the songs.
The Kids became known for their platinum blonde hair, and were the first in Norway to produce a music video. The video was aired by the program Zikk Zakk, the only rock music program on NRK. The Kids sold to platinum. After the band broke up, Dag Ingebrigtsen took part in the founding of TNT. Meanwhile Torstein Flakne founded Stage Dolls. In 1996 they had a reunion tour in Norway, and released the "Greatest Hits" on CD.

Maybe it's not over yet
Somewhere inside him there must be some
New dream awaiting to topple the rest
When he finds himself
Feeling alive yet alone
Maybe the best he can get is still out of his reach
Ran from the life that he hates
Hoping to find some new beginning
Abandoned the future they gave and
Took away knowing what they would say
Destined to rise above all of the
Simplified answers they gave him
Back there when surrounded by
Love he could not make sense
Of feeling alive yet alone
Maybe the best he can get is
Simply blurred by fate
Yet he knows he's the champion of the planet
But he's told he was wrong for somehow deciding to...
