On to the Next One

"On to the Next One" is a song by American hip hop recording artist Jay-Z, released as the fourth single from his twelfth studio album The Blueprint 3 on his Roc Nation label, also released as the fourth single in the United Kingdom after "Young Forever". The song features additional rap vocals and music production from producer and rapper Swizz Beatz. The song has been frequently used for freestyles, notably by Ab-Soul, Bun B, Crooked I and Red Cafe. The song contains a vocal sample of the words "under the spotlight" as well as a background synthesizer sound from the live version of Justice's song "D.A.N.C.E.". The song won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group at the 53rd Grammy Awards, making this, in total Jay-Z's 13th Grammy Award overall, and Swizz Beatz's first Grammy Award win. In addition, Jay-Z is the first artist to have all four singles from one album win six Grammy Awards in their respective category. This song was also used in the soundtrack for the videogame NBA 2K13

Avanti un altro!

Avanti un altro! is an Italian game show hosted by Paolo Bonolis and Gerry Scotti. It premiered on September 5, 2011. The international distribution name for the show is "Next One!" and it is owned and distributed by Endemol Shine Group.

First phase

Avanti un Altro! is daily game show where players queue up on stage one by one to take part in a high-speed game of knowledge. The first contestant in the queue joins the host on stage where the contestant has to answer three questions correctly out of four, while the clock is ticking. Two wrong moves and it’s on to the next one in line.

The first player to correctly answer the three questions moves to the next phase where they have to select a scroll containing a hidden cash amount. The player must decide based on the amount from the scroll whether to continue playing building their amount or cashing out and moving over to the Champion’s Chair. The decision will require some thought because the next person in the queue could easily bump the current contestant off the chair if they collect more money during their game.

The Next One

The Next One is a nickname that has belonged to the following ice hockey players:

The name is a play on Wayne Gretzky's nickname, "The Great One". Each of the players listed has been or is currently billed as the next Wayne Gretzky. Phil Kessel was considered to be on the list during his junior career, but his performance dropped in 2006 and he was taken off the list. To date, no player given the moniker has broken a National Hockey League record set by Gretzky. Mario Lemieux, "The Magnificent One", was the closest to breaking several of Gretzky's records, but he was never called "The Next One" by the media, because he was Gretzky's contemporary for most of his NHL career. The name continues to be used to highlight the achievements of young players still in their teenage years, who outcompete players older than them in minor league or international junior play as Gretzky did.
