On Parole is the debut recording made by English rock band Motörhead, released in December 1979. Originally intended for a 1976 release date,United Artists was not convinced of the album's commercial potential and did not want to release it. As a result, it would remain unreleased for over three years.
Four of the songs appearing on On Parole were recorded in a single session at Rockfield Studios in September 1975, while the rest were taped in December 1975, with various overdubs laid down in January and February 1976.
Motörhead signed with United Artists when Andrew Lauder, A&R man for Lemmy's old band Hawkwind, secured them a record deal. This is the only album to feature the band's original line-up of Lemmy on vocals and bass, Larry Wallis on guitar and vocals, and Lucas Fox on drums. During the sessions, original producer Dave Edmunds relinquished his duties, being replaced by Fritz Fryer. Drummer Fox was then replaced by Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor, a casual acquaintance of Lemmy's who had been persuaded to drive him to Rockfield Studios. Taylor overdubbed all of Fox's tracks except for Lost Johnny, as he was being held in custody following an arrest for alleged drunk-and-disorderly conduct when that session was due to take place.
Les Misérables is one of the most famous and most performed musicals worldwide. It is based on the novel Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, which follows the struggles of a cast of characters as they seek redemption and revolution in 19th century France. French composer Claude-Michel Schönberg composed the Tony Award-winning score in 1980, with a libretto by Alain Boublil. It was staged in London's West End in 1985, with English lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer. On October 3, 2010, the West End production celebrated its 25th Anniversary and became the longest-running West End musical in history. The show has since found further success on Broadway and in many other countries around the world.
There have been several recordings of this material, including ones by the original London cast and original Broadway cast. However, no recording contains the entire performance of songs, score and spoken parts as featured on stage; The Complete Symphonic Recording comes closest, but a pair of songs that were cut from the show following the initial London run, as well as one song only present in the Original French Concept Album, are not included.
On Parole (Kari-Shakuhō, 1988) is a novel by Japanese author Akira Yoshimura. The book tells the story of Shiro Kikutani, a man who is serving an indefinite prison sentence for the murder of his unfaithful wife. He is granted parole after fifteen years for good behavior, and after his release he struggles to readjust to a society he no longer recognizes.
The novel is written in the third person narrative mode, and is divided into thirteen chapters.

Tab Two is a German acid jazz or "hip jazz" band formed in 1991. 'Tab' stands for Trumpet and Bass. The band consists of Hellmut Hattler and Joo Kraus.
Bassist Hattler and trumpeter Kraus had played together since 1987, for some of that time as members of Kraan. They began composing together and started Tab Two in 1991. Combining acoustic instruments and electronics, their music was referred to as "hip jazz".
They signed for Virgin Records in Europe, and later Polydor, JVC Victor in Japan, and released eight albums together before splitting up in 1999. Their music was used in commercials for companies such as Mercedes-Benz and Bruno Banani. The duo's 1994 album "Hip Jazz" was named 'CD of the Month' by German magazine Der Wiener.
After interest in reissuing their material, the duo held a press conference in November 2011. The musicians announced a "temporary reunion" with a tour limited to 10 concerts, and the release of the 3CD best-of album Two Thumbs Up in 2012.
In April 2012, at a festival on occasion of Hellmut Hattler's 60th birthday, Tab Two performed for the first time since 1999. The recordings were released as the 6-track album Live at the Roxy, for download only.

Been a lot between us
And I guess there's more to come
We've been doing something right
But sometimes it goes wrong
We've been through places
And we won't be back again
We've been through faces
But I guess that never ends
I don't know what's goin on
Have we done something wrong
I've been strange I've been too strange
I've been to somewhere else and
I've been too strange
How come you saw right through my head
How come you saw inside my head
How come you know what's in my head
Been a lot between us
And I guess there's more to come
We've been doing something right
But sometimes it goes wrong
We were never scared of light
But the shadows that it throws
Are digging deep inside of us
And I think we're full of holes
