22 Jacks is an American punk rock supergroup, consisting of members of Wax, The Breeders, The Adolescents and Royal Crown Revue. They were active from 1995 to 2001, and again from 2007 on.
In late 1995, Joe Sib after the breakup of his band Wax, decided to get together with longtime friend Steve Soto (former member of The Adolescents and Agent Orange) to write some material. They started writing songs and soon noticed that something special was taking place. They soon gathered Sandy Hansen (The Adolescents), Scott Shiflett (Face to Face), and Jason Cropper (Weezer) to form 22 Jacks. In February 1996, 22 Jacks went to The Sandbox studio in Los Angeles and recorded 12 songs which became the "Uncle Bob" record. With the three final additions to the band already having prior commitments, Sib and Soto went on a search for replacements to solidify the lineup. They found Kelly LeMieux (Fear), Jose Medeles (The Breeders, and Face to Face), and Bill Fraenza.
Before a fourth album could be recorded, 22 Jacks called it quits around 2001 as Sib left the band to concentrate on the future of SideOneDummy Records. Following the breakup, Soto went on to reform The Adolescents and Medeles also joined the reunion of The Breeders as their new drummer.

"On My Way" is the second single released by American singer and actress Lea Michele, taken from her debut studio album Louder (2014). It was released via digital download onto iTunes on May 4, 2014. The song was written by songwriters Ali Tamposi and Fernando Garibay, along with music producers Marcus Lomax, Jordan Johnson, Stefan Johnson and Clarence Coffee Jr., and was produced by The Monsters and the Strangerz and Kuk Harrell.
Michele gave her first live performance of "On My Way" on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on March 19, 2014, after revealing on her Twitter account that the song would be the next single from Louder. Broadway.com reported of the performance: "The blossoming pop star proved once again that nothing beats a live performance."
The song has received generally positive reviews from music critics. Casey Lewis from Teen Vogue wrote: "And while "On My Way" boasts a powerful bass-heavy beat that's a bit of departure from the recent tracks we've heard from her, the lyrics are just as emotionally charged as what we've come to expect. This time around, she touches on a battle between her head and her heart (hey, who hasn't been there!)"
"On My Way" is a Louis Armstrong song that appeared on the album Louis and the Good Book in 1958 and was issued with "I'll String Along with You" as a single in 1959. It features a solo section with Louis and Trummy Young.
A variant of I'm on My Way (traditional song), Armstrong's version starts with "On My Way" or "I'm on My Way" (or similar phrases in various versions) and then goes into a chorus "On my way now, got on my traveling shoes...".
The song is no relation to "Oh, Lawd, I'm on My Way!", a song sung by Ella Fitzgerald the previous year (1957) on the Porgy and Bess album by Fitzgerald and Armstrong. That song begins: "Porgy and all, I'm on my way to a heav'nly lan'".
[Verse 1]
Ballerina, trapped between the
Walls of her own home
Oh God, Kristina
Don't once think that
This madness is my fault alone
Now a nightmare's in the house
Still everyday's another chance
[Hook]
I'm on my way, I'm on my way
Let's get married, I'll buy a ring and then we'll
Consecrate this messy love
[Verse 2]
Spinning one beat, 'till I finally
Realize how busy I am
We're both so broken, done long hoping
Is that we'll stumble upon our love again
Just believe in me, Kristina
All these demons, I can beat them
[Hook]
[Bridge]
I caught you dancing quietly
It felt like being somebody else
Oh my friend, it seems like
Our love is too lovely for everyone else
