This block is no longer formally airing in a specific timeslot on YTV.
The shows that aired within the block are now grouped together and airing on different days throughout the schedule.
Get Real was a British sitcom from 1998. It starred Lindsay Duncan, Lloyd Owen, Simon Godley and Lesley Vickerage.
It was made by Carlton Television for the ITV network.
Louise (Duncan), Adam (Owen), Lestor (Godley) and Francine (Vickerage) are four Londoners in their late 20s or early 30s, all living in Ladbroke Grove. They are constantly meeting up in each other's flats or in a nearby coffee bar to drink and discuss life, love and sex (possibly due to some of the subject matter being dealt with, the series was broadcast in a post-News at Ten slot).
Adam was the smart, cool one; Louise his glamorous friend and landlady; Lestor, his nerdish best friend; and Francine his latest girlfriend, a newcomer to the bunch who - lacking confidence with new people - was finding it hard to fit in. Furthermore, Adam and Louise had enjoyed a brief fling in the past and there was still an attraction between them. Due to the status of the characters as young, metropolitan singles, as well as the nature of the characters themselves and the contemporary urban setting in which they are set, the show could be seen as an attempt to be a British equivalent to the more famous American sitcoms from around the same time that followed this trend, such as Friends or Seinfeld.
Outside (sometimes referred to as 1.Outside) is a concept album first released 26 September 1995 by David Bowie on Virgin Records, and Bowie's nineteenth studio album. The album was Bowie's reunion with Brian Eno, whom Bowie had worked with most famously on his Berlin Trilogy in the 1970s. Subtitled "the Ritual Art-Murder of Baby Grace Blue: A non-linear Gothic Drama Hyper-Cycle", Outside centres on the characters of a dystopian world on the eve of the 21st century. The album put Bowie back into the mainstream scene of rock music with its singles "The Hearts Filthy Lesson", "Strangers When We Meet", and "Hallo Spaceboy" (remixed by the Pet Shop Boys).
On My Own is the fourth and final studio album released on August 26, 2003 by Hip-hop artist, Magic on Koch Records. The Album featured production from Magic, Mark in da Dark and Sinista as well as guest appearances by Curren$y
On My Own has proved to be Magic's least successful of his four albums, only making it to #54 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
Prior to the release of this album, Magic had just left No Limit Records to join Koch and On My Own was his second 2003 album. Ironically, less than four months later, No Limit would file for bankruptcy and join Koch. However, this album was released just 5 months after his previous album White Eyes (album). This is Magic's final album prior to his death on March 1, 2013.
On My Own is the second studio album by all-female German pop group Queensberry, it was released by Warner Music Group in November 2009 in German-speaking Europe. This was the last album to feature the group's original line-up. In July 2010, it was announced that original members Anto and Vici were parting with the band to be replaced with Selina Herrero and Ronja Hilbig.
"On My Own" was a Billboard #1 hit duet by singers Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald when it was released as a single in 1986. It was released from LaBelle's first platinum album, Winner in You and was written and produced by Burt Bacharach and his former wife Carole Bayer Sager. The song was originally recorded by singer Dionne Warwick for inclusion on her album Friends. It is unclear why the song was not included on the final tracklist. The song was based on a relationship that had reached its end with both parties going their separate ways in a melancholy state with the occasional option of coming back together again one day.
It was often stated the two performers were in separate cities when they recorded their individual parts which were then "married" during mixing. This was reflected in the music video produced to promote the song, which depicted LaBelle and McDonald performing the song simultaneously on different coasts. The singers were shown on separate sides of a split screen, each singing the song while walking through apartments which had identical layouts but different decor and furniture. The views from their respective porches, where they finished the song, made clear their separation by the continent.

It's kind of hard to not live vicariously
Through all the cuts, jams, hotness that flows
So much music to be heard,

All real but what are the messages saying
To all those who follow in step

So many types of music
out there to get and buy
To help you through the worst,
help you get by
All the tragedies and highs
of life that come around
They'll sit you back,
relax your mind inside the sound
Take it in, realizing there's more
A mixture to that vibe that is the core
To that door we holding back,
Jawaiian in fact
Getting realer by the minute,
now I know you like that
The love of Hip Hop's enough
To make us all believers
That music is more than just beats heard
It's a union where soul meets the word
Original thoughts inspiring life
Feeling good, feeling good,
no wrong, no right
Too much bling Hip Hop,
I can see no purpose
Endless loops of beats all make it worthless
But I'm telling you now
Asian flavor will break the
world sound system
What's fresh music?
Somebody tell me now!
