Of Mice & Men was founded by Austin Carlile, the original vocalist of Attack Attack!, and bassist Jaxin Hall, an import from Auckland, New Zealand during 2009 in Columbus, Ohio. The two recorded their demo "Seven Thousand Miles for What?" with the band Though She Wrote at Paper Tiger Studios in Columbus. Carlile and Hall searched for other members for about a month. They came across Valentino Arteaga, drummer of Lower Definition,Jon Kintz of Odd Project, and Phil Manansala, a touring guitarist for A Static Lullaby. Carlile and Hall moved to Southern California to join up with the three. A little while later, Kintz was cut from the band and replaced with Shayley Bourget. With a question at hand asking of the departure of Kintz in a Q&A for the group, Bourget jokingly stated "Jon didn't cut it." On Kintz's part, he reportedly cited that the band felt he was "partying too much." After reaching 1,000,000 plays from their Myspace profile in just two months since its launch, the band uploaded a cover of Lady Gaga's song, "Poker Face". The song was mastered by Tom Denney, formerly of A Day to Remember and a copy of the demo was sent directly to Rise Records. Recognizing the band as Carlile's new musical project, Of Mice & Men was signed to the label. The group then traveled to the Foundation Studios in Connersville, Indiana on July 14, 2009, with Joey Sturgis to record their self-titled debut album.
Machine to machine refers to direct communication between devices using any communications channel, including wired and wireless. In modern times the communication is often via the Internet of Things (IoT). Widespread adoption of Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6), with its extremely large address space, is necessary to accommodate all of the sensors and machine-readable identifiers that Internet of Things will require.
Machine to machine communication can include industrial instrumentation, enabling a sensor or meter to communicate the data it records (such as temperature, inventory level, etc.) to application software that can use it (for example, adjusting an industrial process based on temperature or placing orders to replenish inventory). Such communication was originally accomplished by having a remote network of machines relay information back to a central hub for analysis, which would then be rerouted into a system like a personal computer.
More recent machine to machine communication has changed into a system of networks that transmits data to personal appliances. The expansion of IP networks around the world has made machine to machine communication quicker and easier while using less power. These networks also allow new business opportunities for consumers and suppliers.
Of Mice & Men is the eponymous debut album by American metalcore band, Of Mice & Men. It was originally planned to be released on February 23, 2010, however was delayed until the 9th of March. It is the only album to feature Jaxin Hall on the bass guitar.
Background
Of Mice & Men began progress on their self-titled debut shortly after demo session recordings. The group were signed to Rise within lead vocalist Austin Carlile's acknowledgment that the previous group he was a part of (Attack Attack!) were signed to label upon his membership. The album was officially announced by Austin Carlile on the band's YouTube channel on December 23, 2009, and is currently available on SmartPunk, MerchNOW, and InterPunk. Shortly after the album's release Carlile left the band and Jerry Roush took his position on lead vocals. After Warped Tour 2010, Jaxin Hall left the band to improve his home life and work on his clothing company, Love Before Glory. Jerry was with Of Mice & Men up to the This Is A Family Tour with label mates Attack Attack!. After this, Carlile was invited and returned to the band again with Roush fired. Austin Carlile was working on a side project with Alan Ashby at the time so when he was invited back he said that he and Alan were a package deal. Alan was put on rhythm guitar and Shayley was moved to bass, but will still be doing clean vocals. Shayley Bourget left the band because of problems that he couldn't fix during tours, and because of his problem with depression. Aaron Pauley is now apart of the band on bass and clean vocals. Two videos were made for the songs "Those in Glass Houses" and "Second & Sebring".
Møn is an island in south-eastern Denmark. Until 1 January 2007, it was a municipality in its own right but it is now part of the municipality of Vordingborg, after merging with the former municipalities of Langebæk, Præstø, and Vordingborg. This has created a municipality with an area of 615km2 (237sqmi) and a total population of 46,307 (2005). It belongs to the Region Sjælland ("Zealand Region"). Møn is one of Denmark's most popular destinations for tourists with its white chalk cliffs, countryside, sandy beaches and the market town of Stege.
Location
Møn is located just off the south-eastern tip of Zealand from which it is separated by the waters of the Hølen strait between Kalvehave and the island of Nyord, at the northern end of Møn. Further south is Stege Bugt. At the narrowest point between the two islands, the waters are referred to as Wolf Strait (Ulvsund), which is the primary strait separating Møn from Zealand.
To the southwest is Stubbekøbing on the island of Falster, which is separated from Møn by the Grønsund (Green Strait).
