Olo (Online Ordering)
Olo is a mobile and online food ordering platform that allows customers to order food from online menus and prepay in advance from their mobile or desktop device.
The company was founded as GoMobo in 2005 by entrepreneur Noah Glass (renamed “Olo” in 2010). The service allows customers to order and pay ahead over the Internet or through a mobile phone, so that they can "Skip the Line ®" (the brand's registered trademark) at chain restaurants cross the United States. In 2009, New York Magazine referred to GoMobo as "Fandango for Food."
Olo launched in New York City in 2006 and has since expanded to over 20 cities across the nation. In April 2015, Fortune Magazine reported the New York, NY based company has over 10 million customers across over 10,000 restaurants.
