Valmont (river)

The river Valmont is one of the small rivers that flow from the plateau of the Pays de Caux into the English Channel.

The river rises at an altitude of 56m at the commune of Valmont at a place called le Vivier. It takes a northwest orientation and falls by a slope of 2,8%, passing through the commune of Colleville before joining the sea via the port of Fécamp.

Jackie Chan is a talented archaeologist who lives in San Francisco with his uncle. His quiet life of exploring booby-trapped castles and dusty tombs is disturbed when an old friend, Captain Black of Section 13, recruits him to stop the Dark Hand acquiring the 12 Talismans. Having been raised by his Uncle, a powerful Chi Wizard, Jackie understands that the Talismans themselves pose a serious threat to the world, though he often laments that he has been forced onto the front lines of the battle between good and evil.

Jackie is a skilled martial artist and is very agile, but would prefer not to fight evil forces unless he has no choice. His catchphrases are "Bad day, bad day, bad day, bad day, BAD DAY!" (usually as a huge understatement), "Talk later!", "I'm sorry, I'll bring it back later, thank you!" (this line has also been used by Uncle and Jade) and "That's crazy, Jade! You're crazy!" When he is in shock or dumbfounded, he makes a strange but quiet whooping sound ("Bwaaah!") similar to Hank Hill of King of the Hill. Though by no means stupid and capable of thinking and acting on his feet to make use of whatever is available in dire situations, he does have a habit of stating the obvious or agreeing to strange requests without realizing until after it's been said.

Too-Rye-Ay

Too-Rye-Ay is the second album by Dexys Midnight Runners, released in July 1982. The album is best known for the hit single "Come On Eileen", which included the lyrics "too-rye-ay" that inspired the album's title.

Background

Shortly before recording this album, Dexys' bandleader Kevin Rowland had decided to add a violin section to the band's existing horn section, which had contributed strings (viola and cello) to the band's latest single, "Liars A to E". However, after violinists Helen O'Hara and Steve Brennan joined the band, the three members of the horn section, including Dexys' co-leader and album co-composer "Big" Jim Paterson, decided to leave Dexys and become an independent horn band (ultimately known as The TKO Horns). Rowland was able to convince them to stay with the band long enough to record the album and to do a kick-off concert debuting the album on BBC Radio One in June 1982.

All the songs on the album were rearranged to add strings, which caused Dexys to re-record the 1981 singles "Plan B", "Liars A to E", and "Soon". During the rearrangement process, "Soon" was revised into the opening section of "Plan B"; since both songs were written by Rowland and Paterson, the merged songs are just credited on the album as "Plan B".

Old (song)

"Old" is a song recorded by American heavy metal band Machine Head. It was released as a single in two different versions. The title track is taken off of the 1994 album Burn My Eyes. It is the fourth track featured on the band's live album Hellalive, and the ninth track featured on the band's second live album Machine Fucking Head Live.
