  • Oh Yeah (Roxy Music song)

"Oh Yeah", also known as "Oh Yeah (There's a Band Playing On the Radio)" or "Oh Yeah (On the Radio)" on certain releases, is a hit single by the English rock band Roxy Music. It was taken from their 1980 album Flesh and Blood.

    Background

"Oh Yeah" is the second release from the album. It hit #5 on the UK Singles Chart, as the previous single "Over You" had also done. This song was followed by the UK Top 20 hit "Same Old Scene". Bryan Ferry explained to The Mail on Sunday: “In this song I was trying to create a picture of Americana, and long hot summer evenings at drive-in movies. It is wistful and nostalgic, rather like a country record.” The song was backed by the non-LP track "South Downs", a synth instrumental by Ferry, or by the album tracks "Rain Rain Rain" (in the USA) and "In the Midnight Hour" (in Australia and South Africa).

"South Downs" when re-released on the "The Thrill of It All" boxset was accidentally released backwards, but due to the synthetic nature of the string sound, it didn't sound weird. The original version reappeared on a 3-track CD single with "Jealous Guy" and "Lover".

    Oh Yeah (Work)

"Oh Yeah (Work)" is the third single from American rapper Lil Scrappy's second album Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live. The song's beat structure incorporates typical southern hip hop snares as well as Lil Jon's signature crunk synths. Although on the release of the album, the single was an unlisted track. It features E-40 and Sean P of the YoungbloodZ.

    Music video

The music video for the song was directed by Marcus Raboy and premiered as a New Joint on BET's 106 & Park Live, on January 25, 2007.

J-Bo of the Youngbloodz, Lil Jon, and Too Short made cameo appearances in the video. It is produced by Lil Jon. Part of the hook is influenced by Lloyd Banks' song "Work Magic".

    Career

Following her debut in 2009, she had already gained fame for her appearances on music shows, most notably Immortal Songs 2 on KBS2. She also worked as a professor in applied musical arts at the Seoul Technical Arts College.

ALi would later address this controversy by revealing that she herself was a survivor of sexual assault.

    Senior doctors

  • Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) – Department Head: Diagnostic Medicine. Dr. Gregory House is a maverick diagnostician with a double specialty in infectious disease and nephrology. Dr. House utterly lacks bedside manner and prefers to avoid direct contact with his patients whenever possible. Due to an infarction in his right thigh, House lost a substantial portion of the muscle in his upper leg and must use a cane to assist with walking. As a result, House is also forced to deal with constant physical pain, which he manages through a dependency on the prescription pain medication Vicodin. Although his behavior can border on antisocial, misanthropic or Sociopathic, House is viewed as a genius physician whose unconventional thinking and excellent instincts have afforded him a great deal of respect and an unusual level of tolerance from his colleagues and the medical world. House is eventually replaced by Chase after he fakes his death in the series finale, "Everybody Dies."

    Oh Yeah

    by: Ash

Oh Yeah she was taking me over
Oh Yeah it was the start of the summer
    On warm June evenings
She would come to my house
    Still in her school skirt
    And her summer blouse
Talking too long as the night came on
It was the best time of my life
    Her bee stung lips,
    Kisses sweeter than wine
    The things she whispered
    With breathless sighs
The summer air was soft and warm
Her eyes were making silent demands
And as her hair came undone in my hands
Oh Yeah she was taking me over
Oh Yeah it was the start of the summer
    Driving her home after midnight
I felt so good everything was alright
Her thoughts seemed so lost in the night sky
    I remember everything
I don't know why these things ever send
I sometimes wish it was that summer again
I still see her in my sleep
And hear the sighing of the summer wind
Still I don't regret one thing
Oh Yeah she was taking me over
Oh Yeah it was the start of the summer
It felt just like it was the start of forever
