Writing for Drowned in Sound, Julian Ridgway gave the song 5 out of 10, stated: "They’ve proved themselves masters of the dumb pop single in the past – records that make you smile even if they don’t make you think. But with 'Oh My Gosh' the smile’s started to freeze over, like the one you get when people make you look through their holiday photos." He concluded his review by commented that the "airhead" lyrics are "quite funny" but the song "is pretty average stuff for them."
While reviewing The Singles, AllMusic's Andy Kellman listed the song as one of his "track picks" on the album and called the song "rubbery", "deliciously flirtatious and cartoonish."
Moony (born Monica Bragato, born 27 September 1980) is a musician from Italy. She was the vocalist on DB Boulevard's hit single "Point of View", as well as on her own single "Dove (I'll Be Loving You)".
Raised in Venice, Moony was first noticed singing in the Venetian club scene and was asked to provide vocals for a number of songs by DJ and producer Cristiano Spiller. The first single was "Positive", in 1998, sampled from the "Physical", song of Olivia Newton-John, and the second single with Spiller was "Batucada" (1999). She also featured in the project, Angel Moon, in the song "He's All I Want", released in 1998.
Her first major success was "Point of View" as part of the group DB Boulevard. That song became popular across the European dance music scene, and entered the UK Singles Chart at number three. It earned DB Boulevard the distinction of being the first Italian music group to be nominated in the MTV Europe Music Awards. From there on, she launched her solo career. The first single "Dove (I'll Be Loving You)" was a commercial success and entered the UK Singles Chart at number nine. She released her debut album Lifestories in 2003.
The following fictional characters are staff members and denizens of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter books written by J. K. Rowling.
The following are notable teachers and staff members who do not have their own articles or who are not listed in other articles.
Argus Filch is the caretaker of Hogwarts. While he is not an evil character, he is ill-tempered, which makes him unpopular with the student body, and occasionally with other staff. His knowledge of the secrets and short-cuts of the castle is almost unparalleled, except perhaps by the Weasley twins, Voldemort himself, Harry, Ron and Hermione, and other users of the Marauder's Map. He tends to favour almost sadistically harsh punishments, leading to his alliance with Dolores Umbridge. He has an obsessive dislike of mud, animate toys, and all other things that might interfere with his creation of an immaculately clean and orderly Hogwarts. He is also portrayed as having a constant antagonism towards Peeves the poltergeist and often tells Dumbledore that Peeves should be thrown out of Hogwarts. He also likes to wander Hogwarts corridors at night, presumably in the hope of catching a student out of bed.
Boy, you really blow my mind
(Oh my gosh)
I'm just lookin' at you like
(Oh my gosh)
You really got the vibe I like
(Oh my gosh)
The way you comin' at me like
(Oh my gosh)
So what you tryin' to do tonight
(Oh my gosh)
I'll just roll with you tonight
(Oh my gosh)
'Cause the way you talkin' to me
'Bout the way you wanna move me
And the way you puttin' to me is like
(Oh my gosh)
The way that you came up into the spot
Caught my eyes right from the beginning
And before you even said two words to me
I knew that with you I'd be winnin'
I never been around somebody like you before
And no that ain't no lie
Let me get my coat and we can hit the door
And you can take me for a ride
Boy, you really blow my mind
(Oh my gosh)
I'm just lookin' at you like
(Oh my gosh)
You really got the vibe I like
(Oh my gosh)
The way you comin' at me like
(Oh my gosh)
So what you tryin' to do tonight
(Oh my gosh)
I'll just roll with you tonight
(Oh my gosh)
'Cause the way you talkin' to me
'Bout the way you wanna move me
And the way you puttin' to me is like
(Oh my gosh)
Now I don't usually fall head over heals
For a cat that I just met
But you talk like a baller that bigger than life
So I figured I'd take a chance
(You make me wanna)
Ride with you, slide with you
Drive with you on the freeway so take it easy
We can rock it all night long
As long as you wanna stay with me baby
Boy, you really blow my mind
(Oh my gosh)
I'm just lookin' at you like
(Oh my gosh)
You really got the vibe I like
(Oh my gosh)
The way you comin' at me like
(Oh my gosh)
So what you tryin' to do tonight
(Oh my gosh)
I'll just roll with you tonight
(Oh my gosh)
'Cause the way you talkin' to me
'Bout the way you wanna move me
And the way you puttin' to me is like
(Oh my gosh)
(It's all right; it's just midnight)
So don't you worry 'bout the time, just get into it, into it
(Whatever ya like, is whatever I like)
