Ogna

Ogna is a village and former municipality in Rogaland county, Norway.

Ogna was separated from Eigersund in 1839. It was merged with Nærbø and Varhaug to (re)create the old municipality of Hå January 1, 1964.

Its population, as of 2005, was 330. In the village there is a little church dating back to the Middle Ages, which was restored and added to after a fire. It is often open in the summer for visitors. Ogna has beautiful sand beaches, and also a river where salmon fishing is very popular. Highway 44, which also forms the tourist route known as the North Sea Road, passes through the village.
