Nuvva Nena (English: You or me) is a Telugu Romantic comedy film directed by debutante P. Narayana and produced by Vamsi Krishna under SVK Cinema banner. The film stars Shriya Saran, Allari Naresh, Sharvanand, and Vimala Raman in lead roles with Brahmanandam, Ali, Jeeva, Srinivasa Reddy, Raghu and Kovai Sarala appearing in other significant roles. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the film's soundtrack with Mani Sharma providing the background score for the film. It is based on Hindi film Deewana Mastana. The film was a hit at the box office.
Avinash (Allari Naresh) is a small time crook who creates havoc in the town of Amalapuram along with his friend Ali (Ali). After a big robbery, they escape to Hyderabad along with 60 lakhs in cash. Unexpectedly, Avinash comes across the gorgeous Dr. Nandini (Shriya Saran), and it is love at first sight for him. He sets about trying to get closer to Nandini and starts hatching plans to that effect. Into this scenario enters Anand (Sharvanand) who is an extremely timid guy. Anand is extremely frightened about very minor things and his father takes him to Dr. Nandini for treatment. As Nandini sets about curing Anand’s problem, he too falls for her.
Gabriele Susanne Kerner (born 24 March 1960), better known by her stage name Nena, is a German singer-songwriter, actress, and comedienne who rose to international fame in 1983 with the New German Wave song "99 Luftballons". In 1984, she re-recorded this song in English as "99 Red Balloons".Nena was also the name of the band with whom she released the song. The re-recording of some of her old songs rekindled her career in 2002. In 2007, she co-founded Neue Schule Hamburg.
Gabriele Susanne Kerner was born on 24 March 1960 in Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia, West Germany while her family lived in the nearby town of Breckerfeld. She spent the earliest part of her childhood in Breckerfeld and later lived in Hagen. She acquired her nickname, based on the Spanish word "nena", or "little girl", at the age of three, while on a vacation to Spain with her parents. Nena is the first album by German pop rock band Nena and the second studio album of its singer, Gabriele "Nena" Kerner. Released in 1983, it's been part of the music genre called Neue Deutsche Welle (meaning "New German Wave") movement in the German music.
The album was a great success in West Germany and the second single "99 Luftballons" successfully reached #1 in the music charts worldwide including Australia, Austria, Canada, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The single is largely considered a "one-hit wonder" by many, including VH1. It was produced by Manfred Praeker and Reinhold Heil of the German band Spliff.
The album has been initially released as a vinyl LP, cassette and CD.
The first single from the album, "Nur geträumt", was released a year earlier, in 1982. "99 Luftballons" was the 2nd single, released in 1983. The 3rd and final single was "Leuchtturm", released in 1983, a few months after "99 Luftballons".
