Numark Industries
Numark Industries is a manufacturer of audio equipment for disk jockeys, founded in 1971, and based in Cumberland, Rhode Island, United States.
History
Numark was formerly owned by Jack O'Donnell. Numark acquired Alesis in 2001. In 2012 InMusic Brands acquired Numark, including its ION Audio, Alesis and Akai Professional brands.
Products
Numark makes DJ mixers, turntables, MIDI controllers, DJ CD players, DJ DVD mixing consoles, and mixing software (called Cue).
Numark introduced the ION Audio brand for their consumer products, including devices connected to computers via USB. It acquired Alesis and Akai Professional.
