Polarity (The Wedding album)

Polarity is the second release from American punk rock band, The Wedding. Polarity was released on April 17, 2007. The new album showed a drastic change, vocally and musically, from the band's debut album. Polarity features guest appearances by Davy Baysinger from Bleach, duet vocals; Dan Spencer Supertones with a trumpet line; and Josh Robieson (Flatfoot 56), bagpipe riff. This is the last album to include Lead Vocalist/Pianist Kevin Kiehn.

"Say Your Prayers" is the first single from the record. It was released to radio airwaves February 17, 2007. In the first week of release, "Say Your Prayers" tied for the number 1 spot in radio station adds on Radio and Records national Christian Rock charts (February 23, 2007). Within the second week, the song hit the top 30 (March 2, 2007). On March 30, 2007, it entered the ranks of the top 10.

The band gave away a free song, "It's Time To Rock, OK?", off the album through the website My Free Music Friday.

Affirmative and negative

In linguistics and grammar, affirmative and negative are terms of opposite meaning which may be applied to statements, verb phrases, clauses, and some other utterances. Essentially an affirmative (positive) form is used to express the validity or truth of a basic assertion, while a negative form expresses its falsity. Examples are the sentences "Jane is here" and "Jane is not here"; the first is affirmative, while the second is negative.

The grammatical category associated with affirmative and negative is called polarity. This means that a sentence, verb phrase, etc. may be said to have either affirmative or negative polarity (its polarity may be either affirmative or negative). Affirmative is generally the unmarked polarity; the negative is marked by a negating word or particle such as the English not, German nicht, Swedish inte, and so on, which reverses the meaning of the predicate. The process of converting affirmative to negative is called negation – the grammatical rules for negation vary from language to language, and a given language may have more than one way of producing negations.

List of Camp Lazlo characters

Camp Lazlo is an American animated television series created by Joe Murray. It features a large cast of anthropomorphic animal characters. The series takes place in Camp Kidney, a Boy Scout summer camp in the fictional town of Prickly Pines.

The cartoon is set in a universe inhabited solely by anthropomorphic animals of many species and focuses on a trio of campers attending a poorly run summer camp known as Camp Kidney; the series focuses on three "bean scouts": Lazlo the eccentric, optimistic monkey, Raj the Indian elephant, and Clam the albino pygmy rhinoceros. Other characters include the Camp Kidney staff, including the ill-tempered Scoutmaster Lumpus and his mild-mannered assistant Slinkman the banana slug. The program also features Lazlo's assortment of fellow campers, characters from a rival summer camp attended solely by girls, and some of the odd locales of the town of Prickly Pines.

Lazlo won the award for "Best New Character" at the Pulcinella Awards in 2006.

Norman (song)

"Norman" is a popular song written by John D. Loudermilk. Recorded by Sue Thompson in 1961, the song reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The next year, Carol Deene released her version of the song in the United Kingdom, where it reached No. 24 on the UK Singles Chart. Guy Lombardo recorded a version of the song for his 1962 Decca LP By Special Request.
