"Normal" is the twentieth episode of the first season of the American comedy television series New Girl. It was written by Luvh Rakhe and directed by Jesse Peretz.

Plot

Jess (Zooey Deschanel) brings her new boyfriend Russell (Dermot Mulroney) home to the loft to meet her roommates. After some reluctance, the men bond when the group plays True American, an active drinking game. The game ends when Cece (Hannah Simone) retreats to Schmidt's bed, prompting Schmidt (Max Greenfield) to join her. Nick (Jake Johnson) then shares his idea for "real apps," a suite of physical "apps" for smartphones with functionality similar to a Swiss Army knife. He accidentally wounds Russell with the prototype, prompting Russell to leave, to Jess's disappointment.

Winston (Lamorne Morris) begins a new job in "Normal" as an assistant to sports talk show host Joe Napoli (Phil Hendrie). Winston's initial enthusiasm for the job fades when he realizes Napoli is an abrasive and disrespectful boss. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has a cameo appearance as a guest on Napoli's show.

Normal is a 2007 Canadian drama film about a group of unrelated people who are brought together in the wake of a deadly car accident. The film was directed by Carl Bessai, and stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Kevin Zegers, Callum Keith Rennie and Andrew Airlie.

Rennie won the Genie Award for Best Supporting Actor at the 29th Genie Awards. The film was also a nominee for Best Picture, but lost to Passchendaele.

Gucci Mane discography

This is the discography of American rapper Gucci Mane. After many guest appearances, mixtapes, and independent releases; he garnered some success with the release of his second major-label album The State vs. Radric Davis (2009). It debuted at number 10 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and number one on the US rap chart; making it his first number one album on that chart. The album contains the hit single "Wasted" which features American rapper Plies. The song peaked at number 36 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming his highest charting song as lead artist. It also peaked at number three on both the R&B chart and Rap chart. His follow-up album The Appeal: Georgia's Most Wanted (2010) debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 and number two on the Rap and R&B charts, and became his highest charting disc to date. His 2011 album, The Return of Mr. Zone 6, debuted at number 18 on the Billboard 200 and became his fourth top 20 album. He also released collaboration albums with Waka Flocka Flame and V-Nasty that same year, entitled Ferrari Boyz and BAYTL, respectively.

Normal morphism

In category theory and its applications to mathematics, a normal monomorphism or conormal epimorphism is a particularly well-behaved type of morphism. A normal category is a category in which every monomorphism is normal. A conormal category is one in which every epimorphism is conormal.

Definition

A monomorphism is normal if it is the kernel of some morphism, and an epimorphism is conormal if it is the cokernel of some morphism.

A category C is binormal if it's both normal and conormal. But note that some authors will use the word "normal" only to indicate that C is binormal.

Examples

In the category of groups, a monomorphism f from H to G is normal if and only if its image is a normal subgroup of G. In particular, if H is a subgroup of G, then the inclusion map i from H to G is a monomorphism, and will be normal if and only if H is a normal subgroup of G. In fact, this is the origin of the term "normal" for monomorphisms.

On the other hand, every epimorphism in the category of groups is normal (since it is the cokernel of its own kernel), so this category is conormal.
