The aim of these performances was to act as a link back home and escapism for the men and woman stationed overseas.

In 2000 Planet Funk asked Tara to perform with them their big dance anthem "Chase the Sun" at the MTV Ibiza dance festival alongside Basement Jaxx and Faithless, which proved to be a big success. Tara continued to write songs for other artists and pay the rent by working as a session singer for a range of different artists/tours and TV shows. No Stress

"No Stress" is a 2008 song recorded by the French house producer and DJ Laurent Wolf. It was the first single from his sixth album Wash My World, on which it features as first track in its radio edit version, and as tenth track in the Zen @ Acoustic version. Released in March 2008, this dance and techno song achieved a great success in many countries, including France and Belgium, where it topped the charts.

The vocals are performed by Eric Carter who is not credited as featuring on the single cover. Laurent Wolf also recorded another version of the song with Anggun for the deluxe edition of Wash My World. Wolf and Anggun performed the song at the 2008 World Music Awards in Monaco.

Chart performances

In France, the single went straight to number 2 on March 29, with 4,561 sales, then topped the chart for one week with 5,209 sales, which was at the time in France the number-one single with the lowest weekly sales (this record was beaten by Britney Spears' "Womanizer" on January 10, 2009, with 3,155 sales). It remained on the chart (top 100) for 37 weeks.

PLAYLIST TIME:

Fix Of You

by: Tara Mcdonald

Only had a kiss
And I'm wasted
4x Yeah
Now I need another hit!
Of what I've tasted
4x Yeah
Out of my head
I'm really tripping out
I was dancing in the dark
Til you found me in the crowd
And the room is spinning
Round and round
I'm paralysed
When I'm looking
into your eyes
Yeah your love is dangerous
I don't know what I'm gonna do
You're my drug
You're contagious
I need another fix of you (fix of you)
Yeah your love is dangerous
I need another fix
Yeah
I can feel the heat
I've been tainted
4x Yeah
Getting drunk off your lips
I want you naked
4x Yeah
Out of my head
I'm really tripping out (out, out, out)
Feeling for a fix babe
Gotta have it now
And the room is spining
Round and round
I'm thinking right
When I'm looking into your eyes
Yeah, your love is dangerous
I don't know what I'm gonna do
You're my drug
You're contagious
I need another fix of you (fix of you)
Yeah your love is dangerous
You're my drug
You're contagious
I need another fix of you (fix of you)
Yeah your love is dangerous
Baby girl I can pick up you
I can be your drug
And we be getting those looks
But it doesn't matter as long you sing that
I'm your dealer follow the leader
Mix it up with a little tequila
You're hotter than a jungle fever
Won't be long til I'm under the neath
I'll make you sing baby (halo)
La la la la la la la
Give you those Ron Jeremy
I need another fix of you (fix of you)
I kiss I look hit is all it took
Kissing and touching
and rocking on the floor
Got me like an addict
Give me more
Yeah your love is dangerous
Yeah your love is dangerous
Yeah your love is dangerous
I need another fix yeah
